Description
Dsorolen 0.2 % Lotion is a skin-sensitizing agent that is used along with ultraviolet light in the treatment called psoralen plus ultraviolet light A (PUVA) to treat a skin disease called vitiligo (a condition characterized by loss of skin color). This medicine is also used to increase the tolerance of skin to sunlight.

Use this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Follow all the instructions given on the label/package insert. Do not sunbathe for 24 hours before using/receiving Dsorolen 0.2 % Lotion and having the UVA light treatment. For 24 hours following the treatment, avoid exposure to sunlight or artificial UV rays (sunlamps or tanning beds). It is advised to take all precautionary measures such as wearing protective clothing, wearing sunblock or sunglasses, etc. if there is a need to go outdoors within 24 hours of therapy.
