Description
Dolonex 20 MG Capsule is a painkiller used to relieve pain and swelling associated with osteoarthritis (pain during movement due to wearing of the protective covering at the ends of the bones) and rheumatoid arthritis (body's immunity attacks the joints and damages it). It blocks the action of chemical messengers in your body that causes pain and swelling. Dolonex 20 MG Capsule may cause some side effects like headache, nausea, indigestion, stomach pain, constipation, etc. Inform your doctor if any of the side effects become severe or persist for a longer time. Avoid doing activities like driving vehicles and operating machines as this medicine can cause dizziness. Dolonex 20 MG Capsule should be taken with food to avoid any stomach discomfort. Take it as prescribed by your doctor. Try taking this medicine at the same time every day for the ease of remembering. Do not skip a dose of this medicine. Inform your doctor if you do not see any improvement in your symptoms. Dolonex 20 MG Capsule may not be suitable for everyone. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you have any problems related to your kidneys, heart or liver. Let your doctor know about all your ongoing medications. Allergy

Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery (CABG)

Dolonex 20 MG Capsule may increase your risk of heart attack or stroke (decreased blood flow to your brain). Hence, it is not recommended for use if you have undergone recent heart surgery.

Gastrointestinal bleeding

Dolonex 20 MG Capsule may also cause stomach or intestinal bleeding. It is not recommended for use if you have a known history of gastrointestinal bleeding because this medicine may worsen your condition.

Severe kidney/liver Impairment

Dolonex 20 MG Capsule is broken down in your liver and excreted through urine. If you have problems with your liver and kidney functioning, this medicine can further worsen it. Hence avoid taking Dolonex 20 MG Capsule if you have such conditions.

Take Dolonex 20 MG Capsule with caution If you have a history of asthma or breathing problems after taking Aspirin or other NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).

Fluid Retention and oedema

Oedema is a condition of fluid retention in your body. You should use Dolonex 20 MG Capsule with caution if you have angioedema (swelling of the area under your skin due to accumulation of body fluid) as it may increase fluid retention in your body.
