Dispred 0.1% Eye Drops is a medicine used to treat irritation, redness, burning sensation, pain, and swelling of the eyes in the absence of an infection. It works by blocking the release of chemical substances that cause pain and swelling in the eyes. Dispred 0.1% Eye Drops may cause some side effects like mild stinging and burning sensation in your eyes and temporary blurred vision. These side effects generally subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if they persist or worsen. Avoid using this medicine if you are allergic to it. Dispred 0.1% Eye Drops should be used only for the eyes. Use this medicine for the prescribed duration for better results. Wash your hands before and after using this medicine. Instill the drops into the affected eyes as instructed by your doctor. Ocular Toxicities

Long-term use of Dispred 0.1% Eye Drops may increase the risk of cataracts and high intraocular pressure (increased pressure inside the eyes). Hence this medicine should be used with caution if you have a history of cataracts (clouding of the lens of the eyes leading to blurred vision) or glaucoma (an eye condition with abnormally high pressure inside the eye that may eventually lead to loss of vision).

Instill Dispred 0.1% Eye Drops as instructed by your doctor. Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to squeeze the eye drop from the dropper. Remember to use it at the same time each day. Wash your hands before you apply the eye drop. To avoid contamination, avoid touching the dropper tip with your hands or let it touch your eye or any other surface. This medicine is for external use only. Avoid contact with the mouth, nose, or open wounds. Rinse immediately with water if it comes in contact with these areas. If you are using any other eye medication, wait for 5 minutes before using it. Avoid driving vehicles and operating machines immediately after using Dispred 0.1% Eye Drops as it may cause temporary blurring of vision.
