Description
Dicef 1.5 GM Injection is an antibiotic medicine containing cefadroxil. It is used to treat bacterial infections of the throat, skin, urinary tract, etc. It is also used in the treatment of impetigo (a skin infection caused by bacteria). This medicine prevents infection by killing or stopping the growth of the bacteria. Dicef 1.5 GM Injection is not effective against infections caused by viruses. Dicef 1.5 GM Injection has some side effects like diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, weakness, nausea, vomiting, pain at the site of injection, etc. Consult your doctor if any side effects persist or bother you. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Dicef 1.5 GM Injection. This medicine may also cause dizziness. Hence, avoid driving vehicles or operating machines after taking Dicef 1.5 GM Injection. Dicef 1.5 GM Injection should be administered into your vein by a health care professional in a hospital. The dose will be determined by your doctor based on your condition.
