Description

Cortimax 30 MG Tablet is mainly used in the treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). It is also used for the treatment of inflammation in various conditions like asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, allergic conditions, skin disorders, eye disorders, etc. This medicine should be used with caution in diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, etc. Do not take this medicine in case of any known allergies or received vaccines recently.

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with latent or active infections since this medicine can suppress the immune system and worsen the patient's condition. This risk is especially higher in patients on high doses of this medicine for a prolonged period of time. Effects on bone

This medicine will decrease the absorption of calcium and decreases bone formation. Use with caution in the elderly population with existing bone disorders. Administering this medicine to children may lead to inhibition of bone growth.

Driving or operating machinery

This medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness like driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.
