Carvidon 35 mg Tablet MR

Manufactured byMicro Labs Ltd.
Description
Carvidon 35 mg Tablet MR is an anti-anginal medicine. It is used as an additional treatment for stable angina pectoris (chest pain caused due to reduced blood flow to the heart). This medicine is used when a person does not respond adequately to other medicines or is intolerant to first-line anti-anginal medicines (initial, preferred, or best treatment for angina). Carvidon 35 mg Tablet MR increases the utilization of glucose (sugar) in place of fat, which results in a steady and more efficient energy supply to the heart muscles. As a result, in people with decreased heart function or blood supply that may cause hypoxia (low oxygen supply), the energy requirements of the heart and its functioning are not reduced. Thus, it protects the heart from any effects of low oxygen supply during angina. Carvidon 35 mg Tablet MR may cause dizziness, headache, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, indigestion, rash, etc. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines if you feel dizzy or tired after taking this medicine. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it. Carvidon 35 mg Tablet MR should be taken twice daily with meals, once in the morning and once in the evening. For ease of remembering, take this medicine at the same time every day. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of treatment based on your condition. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, as it may worsen your condition. Carvidon 35 mg Tablet MR may not be suitable for everyone, especially if you have movement disorders like tremors, restless leg syndrome, etc. It is not recommended for use if you have Parkinson's disease (a brain disorder that causes a gradual loss of muscle control) or severe kidney conditions. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
