General warnings

Renal and liver disease

Drug dependence

This medicine should be used with caution in addiction prone individuals and patients with a history of substance abuse due to its addictive potential. Therapy should be limited for a time period of 3 weeks to reduce this risk. Patients should be monitored closely for any changes in behavior, mood swings, drug-seeking behavior, and signs of abuse and overdose.

Sedation

Use of this medicine may cause moderate to severe sedation. This may cause dizziness, lightheadedness, or drowsiness. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness like driving a vehicle or operating machinery while using this medicine.

Pediatric use

Safety and efficacy of this medicine have not been clinically established in children under 16 years of age.

Geriatric use

Missed Dose

If a dose of Carisoma 350 mg Tablet is missed, take the dose as soon as you remember it. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.

Overdose

Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose. Symptoms of an overdose may include blurred vision, muscular rigidity or incoordination, seizures, hypotension, hallucinations, etc.
