ContainsAmlodipine (5 mg) + Ramipril (5 mg)
Description
Cardace Am (5/5 mg) Tablet is a combination of Amlodipine and Ramipril. It is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). This medicine works by relaxing the heart muscles and blood vessels. This relaxation promotes the smooth flow of blood in vessels and your heart pumps blood more efficiently. Cardace Am (5/5 mg) Tablet has some side effects like nausea, headache, upset stomach and change in taste. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines and rise slowly from a sitting or lying position if you feel dizzy while on Cardace Am (5/5 mg) Tablet treatment. Let your doctor know about any cough or throat irritation that does not go away. Cardace Am (5/5 mg) Tablet may cause swelling in your ankles; therefore, avoid sitting for long hours and try to keep the legs at the level or above your waist. Usually, these side effects are temporary. If any of these side effects do not resolve with time or get worse, seek a doctor's consultation at the earliest. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Cardace Am (5/5 mg) Tablet treatment should not be stopped all of a sudden as it can cause your blood pressure to rise, thereby increasing the risk of heart attack and stroke. Cardace Am (5/5 mg) Tablet is safer for you, when used after sharing your entire medical and medication history (especially Aliskiren) with your doctor. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding before taking Cardace Am (5/5 mg) Tablet.
