Description
Bmont Tablet is a combination of Bambuterol and Montelukast. It is used in the treatment of asthma (wheezing and shortness of breath). It works by relaxing the smooth muscles in your airways and eases breathing. Bmont Tablet may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, headache, sleep disturbances, restless, stomach pain, muscle cramps, and diarrhoea. Consult your doctor if they bother you for long time. Avoid driving or operating machines if you feel dizzy or drowsy. Bmont Tablet can be taken with or without food. Your doctor will determine the dosage and duration of taking this medication depending on your condition. Take it at the same time every day for better results. Avoid taking more than the prescribed dose. Continue taking this medicine even if you get well, do not stop the medication suddenly unless suggested by your doctor. Bmont Tablet is not recommended if you are allergic to it. It is not recommended for use in children below 15 years of age as no safety and efficacy data is not established. Inform your doctor if you have mental illness, heart, kidney, or liver problems. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.

Acute asthma attack

Bmont Tablet should be used with caution as it may cause changes in your behaviour and mood. Inform your doctor if if you have a pre-existing mental illness. Churg-Strauss syndrome

Churg-Strauss syndrome is a condition in which the walls of the blood vessels swell. Bmont Tablet causes an increase in the disease-fighting white blood cells in your blood, leading to this condition. Inform your doctor if you experience fever, joint pain, numbness and weakness in any part of your body.

Kidney disease

Bmont Tablet should be used with caution if you have kidney problems as this medicine is mainly excreted through your kidney. Kidney damage may lead to accumulation of this medicine and increase the risk of side effects. Your doctor may suggest some test to regularly monitor your kidney functions and recommend dose adjustments based on your condition.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose of Bmont Tablet as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.

How it works
Bmont Tablet is a combination of Bambuterol and Montelukast. Bambuterol works by relaxing and opening the blocked air passages. This improves airflow to your lungs and makes breathing easier. Montelukast acts by blocking the response of a chemical substance and reduces swelling in your airways. Thus, it eases breathing and relieves the symptoms such as shortness of breath, wheezing coughing, etc.
