Description
Atpure 25 mg Tablet is a medicine that is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina pectoris (chest pain). Atpure 25 mg Tablet relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow to the heart. As a result, the pressure at which blood is pumped out of the heart is reduced. It also slows down the activity of your heart and reduces the rate and force of the heartbeats. Atpure 25 mg Tablet is also used as a preventive medication for migraine headaches. Atpure 25 mg Tablet causes some side effects like dizziness, headache, breathing difficulty, and low blood pressure. If you feel dizzy or tired after taking this medicine, avoid any activity that requires concentration like driving vehicles or operating machines. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it. This medicine may make you feel lightheaded if you stand up suddenly from a seated position and this is more common in the elderly. You are advised to stand up slowly with support if you experience any lightheadedness while using this medicine. Atpure 25 mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. For the ease of remembering, take this medicine at the same time every day. You may have to take this medicine for a long duration according to the treatment plan. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor. Stopping the use of this medicine abruptly may lead to serious side effects and complications. Allergy

Hyperlipidaemia is a condition where the levels of fat or cholesterol in your blood are high. Atpure 25 mg Tablet can increase the cholesterol levels in the blood. Atpure 25 mg Tablet should be used with caution if you have hyperlipidaemia. Your doctor may adjust the dose of this medicine if required based on your condition.

Hyperthyroidism

Atpure 25 mg Tablet may be used to control symptoms like a fast or irregular heartbeat, anxiety, heat intolerance, or shivering in people with very high thyroid levels. If the use of this medicine is stopped abruptly, it can lead to a condition called thyroid storm, where your body suddenly starts overproduction of thyroid hormones. Hence, treatment should gradually be stopped with dose reduction for 1-2 weeks under the supervision of your doctor.

Withdrawal symptoms

The use of Atpure 25 mg Tablet should not be stopped abruptly without consulting your doctor. You may feel symptoms like restlessness, change in pulse rate, confusion, etc. The dose of this medicine should be reduced gradually to keep these side effects away. It may also trigger more serious conditions like a heart attack.

Missed Dose

If you forget to take a dose of Atpure 25 mg Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. take it as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at the scheduled time. Do not double your dose to compensate for a missed one.

Peripheral vascular disease

Atpure 25 mg Tablet can widen blood vessels and reduce cardiac output (amount of blood pumped by the heart). This may worsen the symptoms of insufficient blood supply associated with peripheral vascular disease. Your doctor may suggest tests to monitor your heart functioning and adjust the dose of this medicine if required based on your condition.

Diabetes

Atpure 25 mg Tablet can mask the symptoms of low blood sugar if you have diabetes. Your doctor may monitor your blood sugar levels while on treatment with this medicine.

Kidney diseases

Atpure 25 mg Tablet filtered in the kidney and eliminated through urine. If you have kidney problems, use this medicine with caution as it may accumulate in the impaired kidneys and cause serious side effects. Your doctor may adjust the dose of this medicine and suggest tests to monitor your kidney function based on the clinical condition.
Food interactions
Using Atpure 25 mg Tablet together with multivitamins with minerals may reduce the effectiveness of this medicine. Take Atpure 25 mg Tablet 2 hours before taking multivitamins with minerals.
