Lucia Jemima M. Ata is a practicing psychologist for eighteen (18) years and aguidance counselor for 28 years. She has been a faculty member, a psychometrician,and a guidance counselor of several schools since 1984.For 28 years, she has been a guidance counselor in several private schools like theUniversity of Asia and the Pacific, Ateneo de Manila University, Miriam College,Immaculate Conception Academy, and Maryknoll College, Child Study Center. Shehas been a consultant at Kalayaan College, Pathways to Higher Education, andDivine Savior Parish School. She gained experience and developed skills on guidanceprogram development, particularly on administering, scoring, and interpreting oftests; conducting counseling; and facilitating group dynamics to students needingassistance in the academics and in coping with family, social, spiritual, and personallife.For 18 years, she has been into private practice in the field of psychology.
