She started her medical journey from Sri Guru Ramdas Medical College, Amritsar and then did her MD in Psychiatry from prestigious Government Medical College, Sector 32, Chandigarh. She further super specialised with DNB. After returning to her hometown, she worked in DMC Ludhiana and then in Deep Hospital before setting up her own state of the art clinic at 127 I Block Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana.
She is part of various medical associations and NGOs where she regularly takes up medical teaching sessions, counselling sessions and medical camps to help people who need it.
