Dr. Saurabh Agrawal has been a pioneer in introducing lasers in urology. He worked as the chief urologist at RG Stone Centre in Mayo Hospital from 2009 till 2011. He encouraged and propagated laser prostate surgery and laser stone surgery. The addition of flexible ureteroscope has simplified laser surgeries. He has organized various camps and workshops in and around Lucknow, in places like Bahraich, Gonda,faizabad, etc propagating the use of lasers in urology. His articles - lasers and stone management, have been published in leading newspapers like Dainik Jagran, Hindustan Times, Times Of India.
