Prof. Mam Chandra is a renowned physician and Gastroenterologist of the state. He retired as a HOD Medicine and Gastroenterology from KGMU Lko.He passed his M.B.B.S. and MD(Medicine) from King George's Medical College in 1969 and 1973 respectively.He topped both the examination and achieve 18 gold medals, 6 certificates of honors and several other prizes totaling to 32.He was appointed in the department of medicine in 1974. He was awarded commonwealth fellowship for one-year training at Leeds, University ofUK in 1983 to 1984 in medical Gastroenterology.He established the first unit of Gastroenterology in UP in the department of medicine in KGMU in 1985. He was actively involved teaching training and research. He guided 90 MD thesis, imparted training in Gastroenterology to the various physician. He published more than 120 research papers in National and International Journals.He is also involved in charitable activities through Astha Health Foundation a leading NGO. He is also a Yoga teacher.

** *** ****** **** *** *** *********** His fees is Rs. 1200 *** ************ ** *** ***** *** **** His attendant/helper writes prescription. Doctor is very rude and unfriendly. He sits behind a wall with only a bank like small counter open to talk to him at waist height, which is very unprofessional especially for such exorbitant fees. He doesn't want to help people, ****** **** ********** ** ******* ** ********** ****** ******* *** *********** i.e. his huge experience and being Faculty at KGMC etc. I definitely don't recommend him at all.

Long wait time, high fee. There is a lady with the dr , *** ** *** ****** *** **** **** ** she is asking and discussing about the problems . When asked about the reason of problem didn’t tell anything just ask to visit again after 7days and he is giving medicine from his own medical store and after checking from availability(personal medical store) giving the medicines . Not recommended.

Very long waiting time for people who are already ailing. The reception staffis very in efficient and has no clue how long the wait would be. No process of getting appointment from before or getting an idea of the wait time. Unpleasant experience due to the long wait..we sat there for about 2 hours before we got to see the doctor.

There is a receptionist of the doctor. When u r discussing ur health issues half of the time she is speaking and asking questions. It feels as if she is the doctor. And one is not paying 1000 rs for interacting with the receptionist. * **** ****** *** ***** *** *** ** ******

First with full regards the doctor has full experience and is very well versed with all medical scenarios. *** **** ** ** **** ******** ** ***** ** ********** He asked to get the tests done from a path lab which was already a tie up with him. Some tests i had done in morning only but doctor insisted for same tests again and was shocking he never gave a response to take some medicine.

He is known in lucknow but for me it was very difficult to trust and go ahead when my father was suffering with liver issue along with typhoid.

we went at Astha clinic after taking appointment, at 11 am morning ,no patient was there accept us but dr came out of his cabin after 1 hr. ** ********** ** *** *** ******* ******* * **** **** * ********* ***** **** **** *** ** *** **** ***** **** **** his secretory speaks ,She is not a doctor but behaves like doctor.They speaks on Mike from inside a room and outside all patients sit even the patient whom the are examining sits with other patient while examination ,so nonphysical examination done by doctor and all discussion is audible to all patients.** **** ********* ******** * **** ** * ******* **** ****** *** *******

Waiting time was too long though there was hardly any pateint and he took the consultation fees however did not prescribed any medicines, asked to undergo few test first and also insist to do test from his clinic itself...
