After completion of M.S – Gen. Surgery in 1987 from premier institute of India – KGMU, Lucknow, fascinated by newly emerging speciality of Surgical Gastroenterology, He joined super speciality programme at SGPGIMS Lucknow, During training, He was fortunate to be associated with First Laparoscopic Surgery of U.P performed by Prof. T. Udwadia. Along with two of my colleague, He was awarded first M. Ch. Degree in Surgical Gastroenterology from North India in 1993. In pursuit of excellence, He joined KEM Hospital Mumbai as SRF in 1994 and gained valuable experience in endoscopic surgeries. Since then served his alma matar KGMU, Lucknow in various positions viz SRF; Lecturer; Assist. Professor and then Associate Professor from 1996 in a department of surgery. In 2006, a new department of Surg. Gastroenterology was carved out & he helped, in establishing the department with help of his other colleagues. To facilitate his work in an unhindered environment he resigned in 2009 from the post of Professor Of Surgical Gastroenterology. Since then he serving society as the senior surgical consultant at Primus Medicare & Nishat Hospital, Lucknow. In 2010 he started Bariatric Surgery, again a first in U.P.

*** ** *** **** ****** ** *** **** *** *************** ********* My grandfather went gall stone surgery ** *********** ******** and it went horribly wrong, mistakes were done one after another there and at last, they suggested to take him to SGPGI, but unfortunately there was a strike there so we decided to take him to AIIMS, Delhi.
Then we thought to get a second opinion, so we consultant Dr. Kacker, and that was the best decision. The thing was that all of the situation was new to all the doctors we consulted and so was the case with him, but insted of saying NO, he tool the case in his hand and after 3 months, he was normal, although treatment continued as there was stent in his body. Whole treatment lasted around 15 months but in the end, he was completely fine, although because of his age, he became weak but the problem was gone.
I would like to mention that the whole treatment was not so pocket-friendly , it was okayish. But in the end what matters is that the patient is back to normal!
Again my grandfather's condition became bad when 2nd wave hit in April 2021. This time it was serious bad, he suggested to admit him but no hospitals were taking non-covid patients at that time, so alternatively he suggested one injection and glucose with some medicines.
And boom, within 15 days he was normal again!
In the end, I would like to say that he is a very good doctor, you should definitely visit him if you have any problem.
There's a bit of wait time involved when you visit him but that's acceptable provided the treatment you are going to get.

Wasn't given sufficient time and information about disease.. he didn't seem to be much interested.. we got an appointment for 7:30 dr came in clinic around 8:45.. so it was lots of waste of time..
I would recommend Dr. Lav Kumar kacker. He does proper diagnosis and gives enough time to each patient.
But practo, You are pathetic! On website you mention some other address of doctor and when you email the contact and location details of doctor, you give some other address. I had a lot of problems in these summers when I synced up the address given by you guys in e-mail. It made me reach at the wrong place where no doctor was to be found out.
It's been 8 years since your inception, you should have proper operational mechanism.

In 2020 I was diagnosed with sever intestinal problem whose only treatment was surgery. On 27th sep 2020 we reached to him with my c.t scan report it was shown that condition of my intestine is very poor. Before CT I was on liquid diet, doctors in Bengaluru was not ready to do operation as they said it's dangerous. Then,on this Site we found him. He directly said,"operation is only way to treat this problem". He explained everything like money,what would be complications etc etc. We were satisfied by interaction. And,on 5th Oct 2020 I admitted in Nishaat hospital. And,on 16th Oct it was my sugery. Now it has been nine months I am happy & healthy. 5 Star Happy Doctors Day!!

Good management, humble doctor & confident. 3 appointments done, but the Medicines didn't helped to relieve symptoms and still doctor prescribed the same medicines even though I told they are not helping. Also doctor should honestly tell patient about side-effects that can happen with those medicines when ask.
