After completing his post-graduation studies, he specialized in neonatology (PDCC- neonatology) at SGPGI, Lucknow. He is trained in taking care of extremely preterm babies, critically ill neonates, parenteral nutrition, well-baby clinic, structured follow-up of high-risk neonates, vaccination, and childhood infectious & non-infectious illnesses.
He has worked in Neonatology and Paediatrics for more than a decade. He has a special interest in neonatal critical care, neonatal resuscitation, and neonatal & pediatric nutrition. He is an advanced and Basic NRP trainer and is involved in training doctors and staff for neonatal resuscitation. He is a permanent member of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP), and the National Neonatology Forum (NNF).
