I love the approach she has for her patients.\nShe praises me for every small step I take towards recovery, doesn't dismiss or invalidate my feelings, doesn't preach, and doesn't 'tell me what to do' and instead suggests alternative ways in which I can help myself towards recovery, which is exactly what a professional in this field should do.\nShe understands that meds work for some people and they don't for others, which is why she makes sure that everytime she prescibes me a new med, if it's working or not and changes them accordingly. \nShe prioritises her patients over whatever their family has to say and I feel that that's something very rarely found in Indian medical Field. She has a progressive and liberal mindset which makes it easy for me to open up to her about literally anything.\nI remember visiting her 10 months ago, when my mental health was so bad, getting out of bed felt like chore. It was the inauguration day of her new hospital building, but not only did she willingly gave me her time but also empathized with me. For the first time in my life I felt so seen by a doctor, who doesn't dismiss my issues, doesn't order me to change myself, instead makes sure that I bring about lifestyle changes gradually. As someone who slept all through the day and suffered with executive dysfunction, today i am not only acing my academics but also thriving in my extra-curriculars at college.\nMental Health services are largely inaccessible in india because of a myriad of reasons, and the least talked among them is the lack of practitioners who genuinely understand the human psyche and not just from a scientific perspective but also from a humanitarian perspective and Dr. Akansha is that person, who understands both and is amazing at both the things!

To start with - let me tell you that I never ever imagined I'll ever fall into anxiety or depression which is in reality the extreme mental state one could possibly be in, or think of.

It all started with a panic attack and then another within a month and another, which for me had no end at that time - all due to my overthinking, compulsive thoughts and behaviors' which took shape of a deadly fear that was always taking a toll on me as if it was the end of my life, something is going to happen really bad, and I may have a life-threatening disease/ condition. These thoughts were actually out of my control and only the people who suffer from it can understand how bad it is.

Initially, I thought things will improve over the course of time and I kept finding an escape from getting any professional help. But very soon I realized that I need some expert to bring me out of this phase, and finally I decided to go for it since there was nothing to lose considering the compromised quality of life I was dealing with. The real me was deep down buried inside and what I became as a result of continuous fear was a man haunted by almost everything in this beautiful world.

One fine day I found Dr. Akanksha on Practo and got an appointment - I can still remember the very first day I met her. Just by looking at me she found out everything about my condition before I could even tell her all, and that's the way she is - an expert in mental health who can cut down your mental worries by half just by talking to you for a few minutes during a consultation.

As a person she is very humble, ever smiling, and soft-spoken with a really caring approach towards her patients. She prescribed me with light supportive medication (and not anti-depressants) combined with weekly talk therapy sessions. The entire regime worked as a wonder and my quality of life improved month by month.

In the first 1-2 months it looked quite difficult to me but I decided to not lose hope and continue, while putting all the trust in her approach towards my case. Month by month I started feeling the change and gradually 6 months passed by and I was normal again with almost zero withdrawal difficulties.

I am now the same person I used to be and really thankful to her for making it possible. I actually have got a loss of words now to explain what change she made into my life when all the hope was lost.

You can trust this review - go ahead and talk to her if you have any sort of mental health issues - you'll not be disappointed.

Vaibhav sir is my family doctor ...i hv so many stories and the excellent experience of his wonderful treatments of my daughters ...will try to explain it in few sentences....during covid time i and my daughter 13 yrs were covid positive... taking treatment of sir on video calls....daily he guided us abt medication ....without ignoring my calls or messages....he gives reply and guide us everytime.

Once i got wrong ultrasound report of my daughter .....ascitis was written.....we were worried so much....bt vaibhav sir was so confident that report is wrong ....no symptom is there....his diagnos is so good .....her second ultrasound report was totally normal .

Few days back my younger daughter 5 yrs was suffering from hand foot mouth disease

....and was admitted in his vardhman hospital....and got relief within three days as he guessed it during admission.

So all in all my kids r comfortable with his treatments and being a mother i hv so many queries and get all the answers from him without irritating.

IN MY OPINION DR. VAIBHAV JAIN IS THE BEST DOCTOR FROM ALL THE ASPECTS......WORDS R NOT SUFFICIENT FOR THE APPRECIATION OF HUMBLENESS AND TREATMENT OF SIR.....LONG LIVE SIR ....THANK U SO MUCH.

I must say that I was lucky enough to have visited Dr Akansha.I visited Dr Akansha regarding illness of my sister who was suffering from last 10 yrs .she was instrumental in helping me to understand the diagnosis and prognosis of the case .The way she has handled the case is phenomenal .Her approach and prescription is greatly appreciated which has helped in improving and regaining normal lifestyle. She is quite approachable and friendly. Belive u me u will not be disappointed . I am really thankful to Dr Akansha for all the support and help and would highly recommend her for such cases .
