Dr. Sunwoong Steven Choi attended UCLA for his undergraduate education…read more, and he went on to earn his dental degree from USC. While there, he was recognized as one of the most outstanding graduates and was invited to join the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.
After finishing his general dentistry training, Dr. Choi moved onto Case Western Reserve University, where he completed a five-year program for oral & maxillofacial surgery. As part of this residency, he trained in general surgery for a year and also received a medical degree.
Today, Dr. Choi is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, California Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, and the California Dental Association. He is licensed as both a physician and dental specialist and is certified to administer general anesthesia.
