I was sceptical about psychotherapy in the beginning. However, my psychiatrist highly recommended Ms Dhwani Shah and referred me to her for my trichotillomania. After only a single session, Ms Shah correctly pegged the origins of my trichotillomania to my anxiety and self-worth issues. She is an absolutely wonderful listener, patient and non-judgemental. She has a deep understanding of psychological conditions and she is professional in her approach, interpreting and analyzing the root causes of conditions. The corrective actions she recommended for me have been brilliant. She assigned simple exercises between sessions that have helped me overcome my issues. If you are sceptical about psychotherapy, you should give Ms Dhwani Shah a go and see for yourself and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. And as a cherry on top of the sessions, the teas she brews are a delight!

I really liked how she broke down each problem into smaller bumpers in life and simplified everything like it was a piece of cake. Really felt releived to receive such an insightful information from a counsellor and I am more than happy to continue my sessions with her. The best part about her is her approach towards the problem.

Dhwani mam has been taking my counselling sessions. She has always been practical and professional while listening and guiding me through my stages of self doubt. She never ever tried to feed my vanity by needless praise and always made me comfortable while speaking both big tragedies and meagre irritation doubts. The best thing i liked is the focus was always me. She once more helped me to recognize that it is my life and my story i am living and how i am responsible for my times, good or bad. I had a very nice experience.

I would also like to suggest that, please use some calming and stress relieving exercise or comfort the client after the session is done. It is hard to travel around orgo home after discussions about emotional and hard times that made us so vulerable.

I would recommend her to my dearest people. So, yes. My experience has been very nice with Dhwani mam.

I think that the friendliness of the doctor was very important as it gave me an idea that I could tell whatever I wanted to say and this person would not judge me for that.Also the calm and composed manner in which she spoke had a bit of calming effect on me as well.I am very happy with the entire experience and would highly recommend her for people going through the same thing as I am or maybe a bit different.
