She got her first opportunity at Fortis Healthcare. Great work experience in an amazingly employee-friendly company that believes in Patients First. The culture at Fortis helped her a lot in developing not only her professional skills as Dietitian and patient care; but also skills like compassion, teamwork, handling symposiums, and CNE (Continued Nutrition Education).
After 4.5 years of work experience at Fortis, she got an opportunity to work at Apollo Hospital Delhi. There she was posted in the oncology department. There she took nutritional care of Chemotherapy and Radiation patients, Post-surgery Cancer Patients, Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, and Thalassemia Patients.
In a short duration of 5 months, I got an opportunity to work at AIIMS Delhi on a Research Project. This was a pediatric endocrinology project related to childhood obesity. I also took OPD counseling sessions for children with other endocrinological problems. Meanwhile, I have also done a short course on Critical Care nutrition which also included Burn Nutrition from IAPEN.
