Bells palsy

Hi. I had got herpes zoster (shingles) two weeks back. I had rashes on left side if neck and shoulder. I consulted dermatologist and rashes were cleared. During that period I had neck pain on the left side. When I thought that it was cured, that zoster virus effected my cranial nerve which controls the facial movements. Now I'm not able to twitch my left eye properly, I had no complete grip of my mouth, unable to smile two sides. I consulted general physician and he prescribed me steroids, antibiotics for virus, and phsyio. 1. Even though I'm able to bear the galvanic current, they seems to be little heavy for me I'm afraid my nerves get weak if they got used to that current . 2. Also, the nerve root which is present little down to the left ear is responding only little to the max galvanic current passed. So is it okay to continue the same amnt of galvanic current that I'm currently having ? What do I need to take care for the root of that nerve to respond to stimuli?

Knee pain after jogging.

Hello Doctor, I was basically a lazy guy and never exercised before, but from last 25 days i have started jogging 2 kms daily. Started from 1 km though. After few initial days i had muscle pain which got over in few days but since 3 or 4th day of jogging i have pain in my knees. Asking other runners they said its normal and would be fine in a month. Its almost 25 days but the pain is still there. Applying volini and crep bandage relieves upto a point but not fully. The pain occurs only while movement, walking or climbing. Is it due to the activity i have taken and will reduce with time or should i go and consult a doctor.

She is a very energetic and patient devot First of All I want to Thank Practo for introducing me with such a good Physiotherapist. I would recommend Dr. Shipra for all kind of Physiotherapy treatments. She is a very energetic and patient devoted physiotherapist. Patient counselling by the doctor was very helpful believing me that my pain can actually Go Away and I will again live a pain free life. I work in an IT company and Back Pain is very common but for my case it was unbearable chronic pain. I was living with this pain for more than 6 years and have consulted many physiotherapist but the usual treatment did not worked out, I was even been advised surgery. A few weeks ago I get introduced with Dr. Shipra through Practo, she counselled me very well and her treatment with all dedication and confidence the pain is gone, though I had to undergo a regular series of session of 15 days. I just have no words to Thanks Dr. Shipra for the way she is giving to society.
