********* **** ****** ! As a representative of my father who is his patient, I think As a person he too is a very humble and caring doctor that I have ever come across ! He made my father recover from Cerebral stroke to a much fit and healthy person till date .

Superb diagnosis and to the point and detailed explanation of treatment and procedure being taken by him wherever needed .

My words would fall short to describe him . He is the kind of doctor who sets examples and faith in common man like us . I want to thank Doctor for his support as always whenever required and requested upon .

Dr Samanta is extremely patient , caring and competent which makes the patient and the family members comfortable, he hears the patient with utmost perseverance and explains his findings and treatment carefully and explicitly.He remembers names and issues of his patients to the best of his ability which is undoubtedly immense.Last but not the least he has been treating my mother over years now and she has recovered extremely well . Both my mother and my entire family trust him completely with my mother's health issues. We shall continue to visit him and keep my elderly mother always under his care.I recommend him to everyone as he is one of the best in his field. My family wishes him and prays for his well being always .

Very friendly and well-behaved doctor, a great human being. He listened my problems very patiently and examined me thoroughly. He discussed my problems thoroughly with me, measures to be taken for lifestyle changes and stress/anxiety management. Overall it was a very nice experience and I am very happy with his treatment. He gives a sufficient time to each of his patients which is very rare nowadays.

We went for severe pain on left side. Dr. Sumitava Samanta was very friendly towards the patient and explained the cause and the treatment procedures very nicely . He also encourages for lifestyle changes rather than depending only on medicines. Overall it was a very nice experience.

Doctor is very friendly and he made us feel very comfortable as we entered his chamber.He listned the problems very patiently and examined the patient thoroughly. I was admitted to Apollo Gleneagles Hospital on 01 Nov 2016 with fever. Dr. Samanta was not my doctor in the time of admission. But very soon (within 24 hours) we was called by other doctors as the situation was going out of control (later I was diagnosed with Meningoencephalitis).

At first I want to say that he is an excellent human being. He used to talk with my parents at the hospital ground and make sure that they do not need to worry. Moreover, whenever I visited to his chamber for followup treatment I feel him like my elder brother.

At last I can certainly say that if he was not there I may not be in the position to acknowledge him now.
