He graduated from Medical College Bengal in 1995 and underwent extensive training in General Surgery and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research ( IPGME&R ) , Kolkata between 1997 to 2004.
He visited Tata Memorial Hospital , Mumbai and Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan as Visiting Scholar in 2000 and 2004 , respectively. He is at present attached to Belle Vue Clinic, The Calcutta Medical Research Institute and B. P. Poddar Hospital & Medical Research Centre . Further . His main areas of interest are Aesthetic Surgery , Trauma & Hand reconstruction and Burn care .
