Doctor is very nice and smart. He knows what he is doing. But experience with practo care is awful. Our surgery was minor and hence wasn’t covered under cashless service. Below are the issues we faced:

Doctor is very nice and smart. He knows what he is doing. But experience with practo care is awful. Our surgery was minor and hence wasn’t covered under cashless service. Below are the issues we faced:

1. Package rate promised was for private ward in email but in the nursing home it was a general ward with 7 bed sharing. Final amount charged was based on private ward instead of raising this point in the first 2 hours of admission.

2. No practo guy was present in nursing home to assist. Had to rely on phone calls.

If you dont have insurance or your surgery isnt covered under insurance there is no point in doing a surgery through practo, its pointless. Better to directly connect with nursing home or hospital.

I went with what I was thinking to be an onset of vericose vein, but after examining he assured me that it's not that and also explained very nicely how the veins in our legs work and what are prominent signs of vericose vein. He prescribed me one color Doppler test just to be fully sure.
