Following his MBBS (which he completed with honours from West Bengal University of Health sciences) Dr. Gorai completed his MD in Dermatology Venereology and Leprology. He then obtained the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) qualification followed by membership of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS).At a relatively young age, Dr. Gorai has had an illustrious career with a number of scholarships, awards and fellowships during his medical studies and beyond. These include the Prof R N Dutta Gold Medal Award at DERMAZONE (2014). He received another prestigious award called IADVL KIWI poster award at DERMACON 2015. He was awarded World Congress of Dermatology(WCD) travel fellowship to present his paper at Vancouver Canada. He has won several awards and scholarships to attend and present papers at national and international conferences. In 2015 he bagged an award and travel fellowship from International society of Dermatologic Surgery (ISDS) to present his two research papers at Seoul, South Korea. His five research paper was accepted for scholarship in WCD 2018, Milan, Italy.At the end of last year he achieved one of the most prestigious award in his career till date. He was selected for ISD Mentorship award 2018 to work with renowned dermatologist Prof Thomas Ruzicka, director of the dermatology dept of Ludwig Macmillan University(LMU), Munich, Germany. It is a proud moment to share that only two candidates were selected from India for that award and he was one of them. LMU is one of the oldest University of Europe that was established in 1472 and still maintaining its glory. Till date 42 Nobel laureates namely Otto Han, Roentgen,Max Planck etc are from that University.

Thank you Dr. Gorai.I come to you with acne prbs.you are advised to take a procidure with some med.But I couldn't able to do it because of some problems at home.Then I had been convinced my parents to do it. Later they agreed.Then I have been able to benifit a lot by doing the procidure.

He does not care about his patients nor does he talk to them properly. He approved a pus test ***** ** *** *** ****** *** *** ** ****** ** ***** On questioning this repeated, he just gave me some ****** antibacterial medicines and dashed away before I could even finish. He did not address my issue nor did he communicate properly. On asking questions he got irritated and even told me I need to use my mouth to take the medicine, which was quite distasteful in my humble opinion. A patient comes to a doctor in pain and expects a minimum level of mental support also. I went to him after seeing his profile here, but I feel even more depressed now. I do not recommend going to a non-compassionate person with your sorrows.

I visited the doctor for skin treatment. I was really having a hard time outside as I found the people in the help desk very rude but however after meeting the doctor all that sadness went away as he was very friendly and polite .
And the very fact he apologised me for having to wait was very heart melting and geuine .

Visited for ingrown toenail removal. He removed a portion of my nail and destroyed the nail matrix underneath so that it does not grow back. I was healed completely within two weeks.

I was visited this doctor at Apollo Salt Lake Kolkata but the above doctor not prescribed any medicine as first steps of treatment as per policy . he was directly advised for laser teatment ...This method of treatment not satisfactory for very economically weak personnel in our country. ***** ********* ***** * *** ** ********* ******* ************** ** *** ******** **** ******** ******** ** very bad experience.
