My experience with Dr. Kar was fantastic. I broke my right side shoulder in Germany. I consulted Doctor there. They prescribed for surgery and told that there was not any alternative, as the fracture was in bad shape. The cost for surgery was about 5.5 lakh rupees ( if we convert the Euro). Total amount was to be deposited in advance, and they gave the appointment after two weeks. Moreover as per their treatment I had to stay there for six weeks. I came back to India and consulted Dr. Kar. He simply prescribed for a sling, and told to come after three weeks. Yes, no surgery. After three weeks he saw my X'ray and prescribed for light physiotherapy. Now I am O.K. Yes the cost involved for this treatment was his two times consultation fee and two times X' ray.

Please consider for average financial sound people. I paid Rs.1000 plus testing charges before couple of days. As per doctor advise, i went to doctor again for further check up afyer few more days. I paid again Rs.1000 for consultaion fee plus testing charges.

We would not prefer this hospital to people just because of the high charges.
