Dr. Abhisek Ghosh did his dental graduation from Ragas Dental College, Chennai, and masters in Orthodontics from the Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore, as the Best outgoing student (First Class First).
He is also the Diplomate of the Indian Board of Orthodontics.
He is the recipient of the Best Clinical Poster Award at the 47th Indian Orthodontic Society Conference and 8th APOC, New Delhi, 2012 and the Best paper in Clinical Innovation at the 48th Indian Orthodontic Society Conference, Ahmedabad, 2013.
He is the winner of the George Jacob Award for excellence in clinical innovation presented by the Indian Orthodontic Society for the year, 2014.
He has also been selected for the recently introduced IOS Exchange program to the University of Western Australia for the year 2017.
He is a peer reviewer for the Journal of Indian Orthodontic Society. He is one of the key opinion leaders for ORMCO India pvt.ltd and a regular invited speaker at the national forum. Recently he was also invited to speak at 10th Asia Pacific Orthodontic Congress, held in Bali, 2016.
His clinical work has frequently found the place in national and international journals.
He is a fellow of The World Federation of Orthodontist, The American Association of Orthodontist and certified in Lingual orthodontics (Incognito).
He is presently occupying the post of Asst.Professor at the M.M.Dental College and Hospital.
