My mother went for cataract surgery from Lucknow and along with the cataract, diabetic retinopathy complications were also discovered during Angiography. During her first visit, cataract operation of her right eye was performed and injection was given on the same eye for diabetic retinopathy. 15 days later, cataract operation of her left eye was performed. Both operation were quite successful and she is feeling much better after operation. Recovery was also quick after first visit. I hope the same will happen after her second visit. The Doctor was quite professional and explained each detail in easy to understand language and provided her with nursing assistance and an excellent place to stay. The cost of the surgery was also reasonable and affordable. The quality of lens used were extremely good and injection used for diabetic retinopathy was for much longer duration than a normal injection. She is able to see clearly without even specs now.

I am very thankful to the doctor for giving her personal attention. The doctor even managed to send me a video of her operation despite his busy schedule. My parents were extremely happy with the operations and the treatment received in his Akshi Eye Center in Kanpur.

My father may also undergo cataract treatment for his both eyes with the same doctor since they both are very much satisfied with the overall package given by him.
