If there is a chance of severe injury or worst case a tooth extraction, he likes to set the record straight instead of giving you false promises for complete recovery, thus prepares you for the worst before starting the treatment. I find this approach excellent knowing some of the other dentists and horrible experiences with my mother.

4. Gentle and calm person, makes you comfortable and takes care of you on human level, keeping monetary part aside. Knowing that I was in bad shape (2 wisdom teeth extracted), he didnt ask for any fee that day and told me to just go home and take rest first.

5. The surgical options were explained detailed enough for us to understand and take our independent call for which option to go for. I haven't seen many dentists doing it, they just jump to the treatment right away!

6. Regular followups - my treatment is done 2 days back but given my severe condition, he calls me everyday for 5 minutes, checks my injury, asks my food intake and hygiene approach and gives me instructions for the next day - this is beyond expectations.
