He then pursued his postgraduate degree in obstetrics and gynaecology at South Gujarat University where he was given the university gold medal for his various academic achievements. In 2007, he went to England and became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Following his graduation, Dr. Tomar served at different hospitals both in India and the United Kingdom, including Nobles Hospital and Leighton Hospital Crewe. In 2008, he returned to India and served as infertility and IVF specialist at Gada Life Art Centre before heading the Manipal Ankur Fertility and IVF Centre in Indore.
