Dr. Jyosna Angom

Dr. Jyotsna has been a miracle worker for me. I had such a hard time conceiving thanks to some incorrect treatment given by a previous doctor. Dr. Jyotsna’s calmness and confidence gave me so much faith that things would work out.

Mine was a high risk pregnancy with my health and the risk of premature delivery, but she never let the fear take away the joy of pregnancy away. While she was always aware of the risks and ensured the right medication was being taken, she never over explained things which would have only made me fly into a panic and elevated any existing complications. I know that for a few, it is easy to misconstrue this as not explaining things properly but believe me this mannerism of hers is the only thing that kept my sane and hopeful thru out.

In my 7th month I started having contractions and most doctors would have taken this as an opportunity to deliver immediately and cash in on the NICU services. But not Dr. Jyotsna! She instead put me on steroids for a month and ensured to give me shots to boost lung movement just Incase things went the other way. Even in that moment when she explained things to us very simply, explained only enough so that as young parents managing alone, we wouldn’t fly into a frenzy.

Even when my daughter was born at 8mts, it was a normal delivery. Even though everyone assumed this would be a CSec thanks to the medical issues, Doc encouraged Normal delivery.

No needless procedures for myself or my baby, no flood of information which would have made us panic and utter support at every turn, Dr. Jyotsna has been a rock and I will forever be in her debt for ensuring I had a successful pregnancy and returned home with my bundle of hope.

Since then, she has been my go to for my issues with irregular periods and her inputs and advice are par excellence. Pls don’t even think twice before visiting her.. she is AMAZING!

I was not able to conceive and after multiple abortions and miscarriages however she helped me out in every possible manner she is very caring and loving doctor .... I delivered on the date I wanted and it was a painless delivery for me and I was blessed with a baby boy on 5th March 2020

I visited this doctor after hearing reading a lot of positive feedback online but unfortunately for me, I didn't have a good experience with her.

I am sure she would have positively affected many people's lives and helped many of them during their pregnancy, but not showing empathy for newly would-be parents is very difficult to deal with. As new would-be parents, we have a right to be excited and naturally ask many questions (some of them may be silly) but refusing to answer them by saying "I don't want to discuss all probabilities with you, we will see when it happens" is utter disrespect for parents. ***** ***** **** **** * ***** ** ********* ***** ** ***** **** ***** ** ******** I would still have overlooked everything *** *** *********** *** ***** ********** but it was not to be. I consulted a 2nd doctor and she had immediately identified a thyroid issue which Dr. Jyotsna completely missed ****** ** *** ********** I am so glad that I consulted another doctor to take a 2nd view and found the issue in time. Had I continued with Dr. Jyotsna, there was a high risk of abnormalities. Anyway, I hope that this was just an off day for her and hopefully, other parents are not treated the same way.

I have had a horrifying experience with Doctor Jyostana Angom. I was close to 14 weeks and had some light bleeding which I immediately informed her and she asked me to go for a scan ***** ****** *******She didnt care to see me personally although i was frantically running around the hospital to get a scan done and as she said she will meet me after the scan. She left by the time scan was done and her junior Doctors told me to go home as everything looked normal in the scan. Later in the evening I miscarried all alone at home and was rushed to hospital in emergency and had suffered a lot of blood loss as well as lost my baby. Her complete outlook to this entire episode was very unprofessional and casual. She didnt even bother to see me after my miscarriage and finally when she came all she has to say was how did this happen, this is very rare, all i know is that bleeding in 2nd trimester is never rare but she was too casual to actually check the problem.

She said after 2 cycles you can try again like losing my healthy baby meant nothing *** ****** * **** ** ** ****** ** ****** ** **********I am devastated and very disappointed after having this horrifying experience with her.

We've had an incredibly positive experience with Dr. Angom during our normal full term delivery. She is calm, pays attention to listen to smallest of the patient concerns and explains the pros and cons as well as options and treatment outcomes in a very thoughtful fashion. She will educate on the various possibilities available and will provide sound advice for favourable and long lasting results. We booked an appointment and it was confirmed. After reaching at Apollo clinic Aundh, Staff says we have called you and doctor is not available today. Staff did not called anf simply lied for that situation.

I have travelled 8 KM to see doctor and answer you get it unacceptable.

She's one of the rare doctors that is extremely kind and cares for her patients from her heart. She helped me deliver normally a slightly complicated gestational diabetes. And the team of resident doctors at jehangir were amazing too. Can't thank her enough

I had good experience with her. I am happy as the way she treated me . She dn't talk too much but gives all question's answers which are relevant. She is friendly that I experienced latter. She don't confused new parents by answering their silly questions. I would like to recommended her.

Though se doesn't show empathy to newly would b parents but she is not like other doctors that would recommend to go for high profile test or go for c section even if not needed. she is an amazing doctor. I had multiple cysts in my ovary from past 10 years and I had been taking medicines for regular periods. I got to know abt her from one of my collegues and started consulting her. Have been under her guidance for last 1 year and my cysta are ll dissolved with her treatment. moreover I was always scared about conception due to being obeise and with the past history of irregular periods.
