Ms. Ruhi Sameena

I have been seeing Ruhi for over four months now for my social anxiety, and my progress has been remarkable. Ruhi is helping me work towards changing my relationship with my anxiety and the difficult and intrusive thoughts and feelings it so often brings. Through my interactions with her I realised that all my life I have been trying to either supress or avoid my anxiety, when the only way to weaken its power over me is to take a more mindful, accepting and non-judgmental stance towards it. Ruhi gave me the tools and strategies I needed to start developing such a perspective and gently guided me in assimilating these practices in my day to day life. Earlier, I had started to doubt my ability to engage with the world in a meaningful way and to live a normal life, but now, with the knowledge and belief that I have the internal resources to deal with difficult feelings when they arise, I feel more confident and ready to take on new challenges. I am thankful to Ruhi for helping me come this far.

I am grateful to Ruhi. When I first went for the therapy I was very hesitant to go inside. After meeting Ruhi I calmed down a bit. But still I couldn't talk much on day one. But as the sessions continued I felt comfortable talking to her. She is very understanding and she guides in a very understanding way. She made me feel I wasn't alone in this. She assured me we will work out this together. She is very friendly and listens patiently. She always made sure that I feel comfortable to talk. She taught me how to see things as they are with my own experiences. She helped me understand different perspectives of simple yet profound state of being like emotions. The person I am right now is completely different and happy version of me than what I was when I started the therapy. I am grateful for the person I have become, all thanks to Ruhi.

I stepped in for an advice to improve my commitment,consistency and productivity which guides me to excel in my career.She addressed my problems very well and helped me to deal with them in an effective way.The techniques suggested by her worked for me and made me confident enough to tackle the difficult situations which I come across .I was very much satisfied with the way she dealt with my issues and adviced me.As of now 4 sessions were completed and I would look forward for the next ones to enhance my abilities which would lead me to success.

I’am really thankful to Ruhi, I went there with a lot of self doubt 2 months back but I came out very strong. I have learnt techniques to manage my anxiety on my own, have learnt to accept my feelings as they are. I have done psychotherapy before but their approach integrates mindfulness which seems to be a long lasting approach. Ruhi is an extremely patient listener. She ensures that she takes every detail you share into consideration. She also sets a very good space of comfort for the client, shares ideas and experiences, restates information and checks constantly about how you are feeling in the conversation. She asks for feedback and incorporates it very well. Most of my sessions with her have been very much the way I hoped they were. Considering how I was skeptical about approaching therapists after seeing a few unprofessional ones in the past, Ruhi was just the most perfect therapist I could have asked for. Every technique she recommended has worked out hugely in my favour and I was able to incorporate and change my thought spirals because of her. She is extremely professional and I never had to wait for more than 5 min over my scheduled appointment time. She is polite, very accommodating, flexible and extremely professional with her practice. I’d recommend her very gladly to anyone!

Ruhi has been working with me for year and a half, and if I look back, it has been a transformational journey. Ruhi is the first counselor in my life and has been very comforting. I recommend Ruhi to anyone who is willing to see a shift in life.

1. Counseling is not a taboo anymore. You go to a doctor for any fever, you go to a counselor for any stress or anxiety or relationship problems or career problems or at least to have someone who can listen to you without judging.

2. People spend not less than a 1000₹ on a weekend outing, it costs the same for a counseling session which is more important and effective.

I've recommended Ruhi to a few friends of mine and everyone has been thankful.

Ruhi is a very patient counsellor. She helped my help myself and was always there for me when I needed her. She helped me understand myself better, made the sessions very comfortable for me to open up and talk to her. She de-stigmatised anxiety and I’m in a better headspace now all thanks to her. I am thankful to have met a such a wonderful counsellor.

I am really glad that i consulted Ruhi , i still remember how i was when i had my first session with her i was all frustrated and depressed.
