Ms. Ritika Matta

Because of my major trust issues and insecurities, it took me nearly 7 sessions over 4 months to open up, atleast on a surface level, to Dr.Ritika.

But once I decided to trust and believe her, she turned out to be the exact kind of therapist that I'd been looking for, the one that I could actually trust and believe in, instead of just pretending to.

I'm grateful that I found her, and I look forward to many more sessions and much more betterment.

I am grateful for my therapy experience with Dr. Ritika. Her approach involves asking leading questions that have been instrumental in bringing clarity to my thoughts and emotions. This has helped me to work on my concerns effectively. Her exceptional empathy stands out, as she genuinely understands the problems. what sets her apart is the understanding she demonstrates regarding the limits of my situation, while simultaneously encouraging and motivating me to undertake activities that contribute to my well-being.

I approached Ritika when I was looking for help dealing with stress regarding personal and professional problems. The thing that I noticed first and liked the most is how empathetic and eager to help she is. She listens patiently to everything I have to say and very gently nudges my thoughts towards a better place. She helps me recognize why I am thinking a certain way and how I can get myself out of such spirals. She gives practical advices and simple exercises that help me deal with major part of my issues with myself on a daily basis. I found it hugely helpful from the first session itself. She makes it very comfortable for me to open up and just be myself. I am very grateful for the interactions I've had with her (and surely will have more in the future). I feel lucky to have found a safe space for myself and my thoughts in the sessions with her.

I have been to more than 5 6 individual sessions and also one couple counseling session with Dr.Ritika Matta . She is very patient enough to listen and guided me/us through the problems. It gave me strength and clarity needed.

Bit of a long story! Last year, due to different reasons, we lost two of our close relatives, which gave me a shock, and I couldn't come out of it. On top of that, there were many layoffs in my company during January this year. On the day when my manager was telling us about the job security and future of the team, my body started shivering, and I felt someone was stopping my breathing. I sensed a kind of panic attack, and I was not able to tell my family what was going on with me. Due to closed-person loss, there were weird dreams at night that I was losing everyone around me. I felt no one around me and thought to visit a professional. I was going through a list of professionals in Hyderabad, and I found Bridging mind gaps . I have a habit of pre-researching things. While doing that, I got their Instagram page, and there were many tips and videos on physiological well-being. I tried to contact Ritika, and she accepted the appointment. That was the best decision I made. She is young, knowledgeable, and the best listener. She heard me and identified what's bothering me more. She gave some tips to overcome those. It's been months that every time I feel low, I reach out to her for an appointment. If Ritika has access to this feedback, then thank you, Ritika.

I have been battling with my anxiety issues regarding personal problems. I consulted Dr Ritika and she is very good at listening and analysing the problem. In one session I realised some very important things which I can step forward defeating my fears and problems. I definitely suggest Dr. Ratika for any issue.

I was going through a traumatic interpersonal relationship. I tried all the means to get out of it for the past 5 months. I was little sceptical to approach a psychologist due to the social stigma but I went ahead and contacted her. I will never ever forget the help she has done by being there. The first day I was literally crying out my heart while talking to Dr.Ritika. She heard through me completely and she did suggest me certain things to do. That changed everything. All she said was that I needed a proper closure from my ex. Also, she clearly understood my personality and traits. The second counselling I was little late but she was very accommodative and she had extended the time though she had some other session. She heard me out and understood what I went through and gave me that piece of advice because of which I am now finding peace with myself. I will personally recommend her to anyone with personal issues. Doc!!! You may not realise but you have really done a huge favour. You have helped a son return to his parents, a brother to his sister, a guy back to his friends and to top it.. I found myself back.

I have been to a handful of therapists before Ms Matta and none of them worked for me. I thought therapy just doesn't work for me, that was until I started to go to Ms Matta. Not only is she a wonderful therapist, she's also friendly and extremely perceptive. Her sessions are a safe, inclusive space and she has a keen understanding of intersectionality. As a bi woman in her early 20s, my experience with her has been nothing short of incredible. She has been one of the most professional, understanding, and informed therapist I have been to and I would strongly recommend her to everyone.

I have been working with Dr. Ritika for over a month now. We're working on ways to further my career, control my stress, and also on improving my communication skills. She's been an excellent listener and gave practical exercises depending on my capability to explore issues further. She was able to figure and make out connections between the regressive patterns that I

have and how I could improve upon them. She is technologically savvy, able to understand the jargon that a 20 something would use, and is nonjudgemental. I quite quickly become comfortable in opening up to her.

I'm very glad to have found her and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to discuss their mental health.

It was first every counseling session. And I'm glad I've chosen Ritika. She was very patient while listening to me. When I went to her I didn't even know the problems I was facing. She explained to me in technical terms as to what I was facing. She gave me tricks to cope with what I was facing. Guess what? Those really really work.

I was the person who was always stressed and worried at work, now people as me what is reason behind my wide smile :) That speaks a lot about my session with her. I highly recommend visiting her if you are looking for a counselling :))
