Dr. Sreekanth Reddy Ambati is a highly experienced Nephrologist and Internal Medicine physician with over 20 years of clinical experience in the United States and India. He completed his MBBS from NTR University of Health Sciences, Andhra Pradesh, followed by residency training and an MD in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, USA. He subsequently completed advanced fellowship training in Nephrology (DM-equivalent) at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia.
Dr. Ambati is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology in the United States and has extensive experience managing a wide spectrum of kidney and medical disorders. His areas of expertise include chronic kidney disease (CKD), diabetic kidney disease, hypertension, acute kidney injury, electrolyte disorders, dialysis care, glomerular diseases, and preventive nephrology.
After a successful career in the United States, Dr. Ambati returned to Hyderabad with a vision of providing evidence-based, compassionate, and accessible healthcare. He is a co-founder of Calix Hospital, Manikonda, where he focuses on comprehensive kidney care and internal medicine services.
