Since one and a half year I have been struggling with stiffness around my knee after chondromalacia injury , after consulting Sarangapani Sir, in just 2 months i felt 50% relief already !! I have consulted few of the top orthopaedic doctors in Hyderabad but non of them were willing to listen to my problem patiently they just follow regular procedure of medicine and physiotherapy but i did not have 1% relief , fortunately I found Sarangapani Sir profile in Practo and I have been reading the patients experiences and felt good about them, but still I was not going ahead because in Ayurveda it's hard to find a right Doctor, i thought only allopathy might resolve my problem, but after consulting Sarangapani Sir I have realised that i was wasting my time and money In allopathy for almost two years, In present world it's hard to find Doctors like Sarangapani Sir ! P.S. I have noticed in patients experience stories that Sir is mostly recognised for fistula related issues, but I will strongly recommend Sir for Orthopaedic related issues aswell.

I have been suffering with Fistula in Ano from June 2015. I am providing a detailed feedback how the corporate hospitals have failed to do the root cause and treat the case. Treatment/ Surgery and follow ups in Max Hospital, Saket, New Delhi.

I was suffering with Fistula In Ano from 5 Months and thus decided to go for Dr’s advice/ consultation. On 29th Jan 2016, I visited Max Hospital Saket to meet the Dr Anil Sharma.

After getting the required tests like MRI/CBC/Serum Culture done, a Complex Perianal Fistula Communicating with Horseshoe Ischio anal Abscess with 2 internal mucosal opening was identified. My 1st Surgery (MAFT- Minimal Invasive Anal Fistula Treatment) was performed on 3rd February 2016 followed by discharged from the hospital on 4th Feb 2016.

Post-Surgery, it felt like the procedure went well and I was fine but 2 weeks later I had developed severe cramps in my bowel, which persisted for almost a month. I was visiting Dr. Anil Sharma in Max Hospital, Saket regularly for follow ups during this entire period. In fact I had been constantly complaining for severe cramps and diarrhea to my treating Dr. Anil Sharma but every single time I was told that nothing was wrong. I was adamant to carry out my colonoscopy/MRI but Dr. Anil Sharma refused saying it is not required.

On 19th April 2016, I was advised by Dr. Anil Sharma (Max) to meet Mr. Amanjit Singh in Medanta for further treatment and management as Max Hospital, Saket was not equipped well enough to meet such GI cases

Admission, follow ups and discharge- MEDANTA Hospital, Gurgaon

Multiple tracts, full of pus were identified and it was then on 21st April 2016 my second MRI was carried out. Dr Amanjeet performed second surgery on 27th April 2016 followed by discharge from the hospital on 28th April 2016

I don’t know what went wrong even though Dr Amanjeet was examining the operated site every week during the dressings, I had developed perianal abscess. 3rd Surgery was performed on 2nd June 2016 to drain the perianal Abscess on Right side and Seton Change after checking the status of Seton in situ.

4th Surgery was performed on 3rd Aug 2016 for Seton Change.

Post 4th surgery In spite of multiple surgeries doctor was not able to identify the reason for the Fistula in Ano.

Treatment at Sai Chaitanya Clinic - Hyderabad

3rd MRI was performed on 28th Oct 2016 and total of 10 Tracts were identified, Colonoscopy report confirmed Crohn’s Colitis with rectal sparing and perianal fistula suggestive of fistulizing Crohn’s . Based on MRI and latest Colonoscopy reports, 5th Surgery was performed on 4th Nov 2016. Another i. e. 6th Surgery was performed on 7th Jan 2017 for curating and tracing the tracts communicating with internal openings. Kshara Sutra was also performed. (Sai Chaitanya Clinic - Hyderabad)

7th Surgery (to clean the perianal abscess) and Kshara Sutra were performed on 10th March 2017. (Sai Chaitanya Clinic - Hyderabad)

2nd Colonoscopy was carried out at (Apollo Health City - Hyderabad) to ascertain the Ulceration and Inflammation in the Large intestine and alternative treatment.

Currently 5 Kshara Sutra threads are there and every 5-10 days these threads need to be changed for quick relief and curing of fistula in Ano. Simultaneously Ayurvedic medicine along with Panchakarma is being administered for treating Crohn’s Pancolitis as there is no cure for the same in Allopathy. I am required to visit the Dr Sarangapani sir every 5-10 days for the dressing, changing of threads and examination & Panchakarma.

I am hopeful about my recovery now as the alternative treatment is being quite successful in terms of healing Fistula & remission of flare ups.

I am thankful to Dr Sarangapani & Dr PJ Vidyasagar for all the moral support which they have extended apart from treatment. Now I am very much positive that I will be cured as I have resumed office after 1 long year was only because of them.

I underwent 4 surgeries(3 at Big multinational hospitals and the last surgery at Sai Bharadwaj Hospital)My problem started as Pilonidal sinus, which is not a serious condition and easily treatable but due the negligence of a Doctor during my 1st surgery my condition got worse and a non serious condition turned into a very serious and complicated condition over time. I will be referring the 1st 3 hospitals as Hospital A,B,C

1st surgery: Hospital A

The pilonidal sinus tracks were not properly traced and removed. The wound was left open and for almost 6-7 months and whenever I asked about the recovery the doctor dais very good and that it will self heal I was not given any instructions on the post surgery care at home or medicines to stop the infection.

Well, after 6 months of non healing and infected wound I had to go some place else and the Doctor at B suggested another surgery

2nd Surgery: Hospital B

Before my 2nd surgery the doctor gave prescription to use antibiotics for a whole month. 2 antibiotic injections per day for a week and daily oral antibiotics. After 2 week my stomach started hurting all the time I was bloated couldn't eat food at all.

The surgery was conducted without any MRI scans or any scans which would help in tracing the sinus tracks and the wound was sutured. The infection inside spread more because the wound was closed from the outside and the infection made more tracks and went deep inside the muscle.

3rd Surgery: Hospital C

This is one of the biggest hospital brand in India, I underwent my 3rd surgery and received a huge bill for 1 day stay and the post care was nothing but buying expensive medicines and creams the doctor barely check the wound every saturday and the other days the Nurses dressed the wound and again after 6 months of non healing open wound my condition got even worse this time the pilonidal sinus spread so deep that it actually formed 2 Anal Fistulas( 1 High anal fistula and the other Mid level Fistula) this usually does not happen because Pilonidal sinus and Anal Fistula are 2 different conditions

4th Surgery: Sai Bharadwaj Ayurveda Hospital

After researching a lot about my condition I found that there is an Ayurvedic treatment for it called Kshar Sutra and Visited Sarangapani Sir. This is by the the best decision I have taken which ended the 3 years of suffering. Sarangapani Sir asked my about the previous surgeries and patiently listened to every detail for around 30-45 mins and then examined my condition and suggested an Advance scan to pin point and trace the bounds of the infection, and after conducting all the necessary tests I underwent my Last surgery. Usually when people undergo surgery for high anal fistula they experience Incontinence but I had no such problem The next day Dr.Sarangapani explained my exactly what happened and how complicated it got and what method he had used during the surgery, I was given a detailed explanation on the post wound care at home. The part which still shocks me is the fact that the wound completely healed in 2 months and previously I had open wound for 6-7 months and had to wear dressing pads every single day for 3 years.

After 3 years of suffering, many sleepless nights, days which were extremely painful my problem came to an end after visiting this Hospital. The Doctor and the staff are extremely friendly and considerate Dr.Sarangapani has got a lot of experience in treating complicated cases which are even worse than my condition and changed many peoples lives including mine.

If anyone is going through any such problems then it's better if you get it treated by the right Doctor at the very earliest. The more it gets delayed the more complicated it gets.

My wife suffered with back ache and some sort of symptoms with sciatica. So we consulted regular orthopedics doctor. On examining X-ray, he gave medication with pain killers, calcium supplements,etc. Advised to take rest. But after few days the situation worsen and pain increased, it's unbearable. Not able to walk properly. Then again went to the doctor reported the present situation. He prescribed the MRI. Then we took MRI and consulted Neuro surgeon in a corporate hospital with earlier orthopedic doctor's reference. On examining the MRI report and films, he diagnoised it as Lumbar disc bulge between L3/4, L4/5(severe) and L5/S1 and it needs surgery, recommended Micro disectamy. We were shocked on hearing this. The Dr said no option and it's simple and can become normal with in 10 days after surgery. We took second opinion from another famous neurosurgeon. He also told the same thing. By this time she is not able to walk properly, not able to sit, bend and became dependent on others and not able to sleep at nights because of continuous pain.

In my office, through my superior I came to know about Dr Sarangapani Ayurvedic panchakarma treatment. Immediately I book the appointment through practo and consulted explained everything and showed all the reports.

On studying the situation he asked for some blood tests to examine in detail.

On seeing the blood reports and everything, he assured that it will be cured with panchakarma therapy and ayurvedic medication. It will take some time to become normal. He explained clearly about the situation and told us to be positive and strong. His positive words gave us a lot of hope. The treatment is splitted as three sittings with 10days panchakarma therapy daily and a gap of 20 days. Like that 3 months three sittings. After 1st sitting i.e. one month of treatment we observed great relief of pain due to nerve compression because of bulged disc touching the sciatic nerve. From that relief she is able to sleep without pain. Her walking become better. After second sitting all the muscle pains vanished. Able to sleep on both sides and walking is improved so much, that no need of help during walking, sitting and standing. During this course of time she was given various ayurvedic internal medicine for vitamin and calcium deficiency and to improve muscle and nerve strength. Also advised to do simple exercises. After third sitting she is completely free from all sort of pains and abnormalities. She can sit, stand for long hours compared to earlier. She able to do her works without depending on others. Every time the doctor enquired about how she is feeling about the pain and bodily changes, such that he changed the medication accordingly. He patiently listens each and everything we say and tell us to be positive that it will be cured. That positive talk gave us so much strength. The doctor, the treatment, the medicine and my wife's will power everything helped us recovered from the problem. I strongly recommend the Dr . Sarangapani Garu for the similar type of problems. He is so friendly and listen to you, discuss the problem clearly with patients, analyse the problem and gives the treatment to cure it.

Iam K. SADA SIVA RAO was suffering from fistula and mild piles since five years. I visited one physician and he has given antibiotics and cream, he didn't tell that is fistula and piles. Recently again abscess also formed, was paining, went to another physician, he asked to take ultrasound scanning, after seeing report asked to go to surgeon. That surgeon recommended for surgery and not said method, he said while doing decide. I went again to another surgeon said to take MRI, said laser operation and after seeing both the doctors said it is complicated . Went to another ayurvedic doctor, he said it is complicated and not said exactly what procedure will do and he said partly will do. Again went to another doctor, he recommended laser operation . Again went to another Ayurvedic doctor tried for medication to avoid surgery.After two months again swelling was there in Abscess, that doctor given information about this doctor. He studied the history asked to take Endo anal scan and after seeing report, clearly explained the actual position six centimeters length from scort external opening to Anal internal opening passing through entire length,it was inverted y shape and was very deep and take two months period for curing by Ayurvedic Kshara Sutra Therapy . Then I have decided to go to this doctor only after seeing his observation and explaining clearly about actual problem. As per his observation, it cured in two months. Really I felt very very happy the way doctor treatment for my problem with reasonable expenditure. Complicated problem made very simple.

I was suffering from anal fistula for last 7 years. It was pretty complex fistula with 2 openings. Allopathic doctors recommended for open surgery (Fistulotomy) but it could have led to injury of sphincter muscle and thus complication of losing control on motions. I consulted in many major hospitals (Apollo Hyderabad, Manipal Bangalore, Continental Hyderabad, Asian Institute Of Gastroenterology Hyderabad and couple more doctors in Delhi and Meerut) but everyone recommended same - Fistulotomy but with risk of injury to sphincter muscle.

I got to know about Dr. Sarang Pani from a friend of mine whose father was an Ayurvedic doctor. Dr. Sarang Pani suggested for a combination of partial Fistulotomy and Ayurvedic Ksharsutra, wherein sphincter muscle would not be damaged in the process (surgery would be done only to partially remove fistula tract but not to cut through sphincter muscle. For rest of tract, doctor recommended to use Ksharsutra which would slowly cut through sphincter muscle over time and thus wont damage it).

My treatment lasted 8 month with a visit to doctor every week. I am very satisfied with treatment and my fistula has healed now without any side affects. Doctor gives ample of time to each patient and is friendly.

Note: Ksharsutra can be painful at times since a thread is replaced in fistula tract each week but that's the nature of treatment. You can ask doctor for applying local anesthesia during initial days to reduce the pain.

I met with an accident in the year 2013 with severe injuries. I was taken to Yashoda hospital in 108. There doctors just did first aid and took a bunch of X-rays and a CTScan and said I'm fine. But I had sensing problems in a couple of body parts, they told that I was in shock and I'll be fine in a day. It started there!

Years passed together but the sensing problem was still there and day-by-day I'm becoming mentally week. However, the doctor suggested to take the panchakarma treatment periodically and gradually the Spinal and Nerve Compression problem will get resolved permanently. I stay in Hyderabad. From last one and half years i am suffering from heavy gastric problem because of indigestion. I literally want to emphasise the word “Heavy”. Because this gastric problem is giving me Panic Attacks and Heart Burns. The experience of Panic Attack is a Nightmare. I went to a multinational hospital. They did all kind of tests from morning to afternoon and at last in the evening they told me that i have GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease). Then they have given me Antacids and some other tablets for 3 months. I used it as they told me to use. I thought my gastric problem will go off. But is nothing changed. I am resident of Hyderabad. I am a lecturer in an Engineering College and used to travel minimum 2 hrs every day. I had suffered from Perianial Abscess and Fistula problems last year i.e. 2020.
