Dr. Swapna P

Pregnancy is not only a family issue but equally a social issue. We do talk to several colleagues and neighbors for advice and reviews. I am glad I have taken time to reflect the echo of at least 40-50 couples in my network.

If I have to judge a doctor, I use below three parameters:

(1) Skills: Her appointments are always full and that is the biggest testimony of her professional skills. But then, there are several equally skilled doctors in the town. What makes Dr Swapna different from others are (2) and (3).

(2) Time: When we consulted Dr Swapna 5 years back, she was relatively new, but by now she is a well-known gynecologist. It's heartening to see even after success, she hasn't changed as a doctor and still cares for her patients.

She not only gives enough time and confidence to her patients but also respects patients' time. In last 5 years, we never had to wait for her unreasonably (we completely understand, at times emergencies do come in Gynecology). We definitely cannot say the same thing about other doctors in Rainbow/outside.

(3) Trust: My wife has had two deliveries under her supervision- both normal. In the era where delivery complications (rather pseudo complications) are so common and frequent, Dr Swapna is guiding for normal deliveries. This requires less of luck (baby's position, BP, stool etc) but more of a gynecologist with high ethics and moral values. Dr Swapna coming to the hospital at 4 in the morning - that too for a delivery without any complication was definitely a soothing factor for us. I always knew my wife is in safe, able and trustworthy hands of Dr Swapna, and that made me far from being tense in the labor room. No unnecessary tests/medicines/scans - in fact we never felt the need to cross check any of her diagnoses/treatments (even if my wife had had c-section, i am sure it would have been strictly for the benefit of mother and child, nothing else), that is the level of trust we have in Dr Swapna in last few years.

A rating of 99.99/100 is a huge injustice to Dr. Swapna. It must be 100/100.

My first visit was to another hospital.there the doctor told me like mine gng to be c-section. I was so worried n a girl from my apartment suggested me this doctor swapna. I went met swapna.She is very friendly. I give 100/100 . Even at the time of my delivery the strength she has given was priceless. Mine is normal delivery with in a hour n half my baby came to me. That time i remembered the words of the other hospital gynic and i was very thankfull to swapna. Very dissapointed with this doctor behaviour. Visted with my wife for thyroid treatment. Very unfriendly to hear out the ailment concerns. As a gynecologists, she confessed that she is not good at treating Thyroid and argued that we visit some other doctor for it, ******* ************* ***** ******* *** ********** * **** * ***** ****** *** ***** ******* ***** *** ****** *** ******* **** ******** It's so embarrassing to write something about a doctor, but she converted discussion into argument and was very rude, which made me to write this review. I will not prefer /suggest this doctor to anyone.

I have been visiting this doctor for 6 months in HyderNagar Rainbow branch. She never spoke to me for more than 5 mins. I thought it is normal, however i realised what i was missing after visiting another doctor in Kondapur branch..

Swapna doesn't have patience in hearing to patients and sometimes extremely rude in responding back to patients.

We are extremely happy with the treatment we received from Dr Swapna. We took the entire pregnancy checkup till delivery at Rainbow hospital Hydernagar. The doctor is very friendly and patient. She is always available and never missed any of the appointments. We extremely recommend her if you are planning for a baby.

The experience with Dr. Swapna during my wife's entire pregnancy duration and delivery of our first child was amazing. My wife was very satisfied with her professionalism and empathetic attitude throughout the entire 9 months journey. Dr. Swapna was extremely patient to hear us out every time and this is a big trait that most doctor's lack these days. Planning to visit her the next time as well :)

***** *** **** ************* **** **** I've been to different doctors before her and was very unhappy. I feel fortunate I met her and she gives such a positive spirit. When I first met her for check up she said " you're pregnant not patient" so enjoy the time and do everything in your limits that you can. During the time I was diagnosed risk of pre term and she was there for me like 24/7 whenever I had question. It takes a lot to bring the little ones into the world and she does with so much of care.

My wife is carrying and she entered into 9th month today. She is treating by Dr Swapna from 3rd month onwards. She is very friendly and explain things clearly, never rush patient to close OPs. Her words gives lots of confidence. Strongly recommend.

I had normal delivery because of her guidance and care. We feel proud as our baby delivered by her😄
