I was suffering from Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) from past 5 years. I have been through multiple doctor’s Allopathy, Ayurveda and Homeopathy and lost confidence on doctors in general as none were able to diagnose and address my issue completely. I became very reluctant to visit a doctor and started finding my own remedies. Three months back, I have picked up cough and it became very heavy and started giving me sleepless nights adding to my original problems. Dr. Somnath Gupta understood my problem and listened patiently on why I took this long to go to a doctor. He gave me medication ***** ************ ***** ** ***** ****** *** ***** He further advised me that the root of the persistent cough I suffered is due to IBD and I need to visit a specialist Gastrentologist to cure it completely. He then referred me to Dr. Govind Varma from same hospital. I duly went to Dr. Govind Verma. Dr. Govind Verma understood my condition pretty well on first visit itself and gave confidence to me that I can be healthy with minimum medical intervention and treatment. They both coordinated well, diagnosed and treated me.

After a month, I am now healthy and put on 3-4 kgs of weight which did not happen to me in the past 6-7 years. I now know the value of health and how it can lead to personal and professional excellence. From the deepest of my heart, I thank these doctors who gave a fresh start to my life again and wish them all good luck and health to serve people like me who are losing faith in doctors in the current healthcare setup.

I visited Dr somnath twice to manage and understand long term recurring issue related to Asthma, Vitamin B12 & D deficiency along with indigestion issues happening over last 1 yrs & i am writing this after finally being medicine free since 3 months.

He gave me answers which i never got from 5-6 doctors from various speciality whom i visited over my 1 yr suffering. He explained everything issue by issue & medicine by medicine & finally i got good confidence that things will be okay. *** ********* ******** ******* I unknowingly got a social rehabilitation because i got answers to all my questions. To my surprise, i actually never visited him for long tail on medical suffering, i actually visited him for current side effects. Out of 2 simultaneous condition, 1 got fully sorted, however my skin rash only suppressed just to reoccur after a month which got sorted by recommendation of another doctor.

Basically he is smart which helps a lot & provides proper technical explanation and hence recommended. If his medicines don't work, u still have the right direction because he can guide really well.

He is been treating my parents for 8 years. He is so friendly. He cares and listen patient problems like a brother in our family. He never cares where you buy medicine and takes the lab tests. He treated my father for viral infections and my mothers high BP . He prescribes tablets which you can use for long tune and does not harm at all.. Dr. Somnath is a super-friendly and efficient doctor and I am extremely happy with his treatment. I went to him for elevated counts of FBG and PFBG and some other ailments. He listens patiently to the patients' problems, which in itself, is a GREAT virtue, does NOT prescribe unnecessary tests, and above all, has a healing touch. *** **** ****** ** *********** *** now my counts are all within level. At Pace hospitals, the staff is very courteous, especially Sudeshna, whose name deserves a special mention. They are caring, affectionate, and treat patients with dignity and respect. I came to know about Dr. Somnath from an office colleague. I had viral fever for 4 days and it was not coming in control. He listened to my problems with patience, discussed the probable reasons and suggested me tests for identification. I waited in the hospital and consulted him again with results in the next 2 hours. He gave me a very comprehensive treatment plan with medicines, prevention, natural ways and recommended me to take rest. I was perfectly fine after 3 days. Highly recommend Dr. Somnath to anyone requiring treatment in general medicine specialties.

First off, I'm surprised and upset why sir is NOT given 100% rating but 97%. He is a person of loads of knowledge and humanity. He just lives his profession, ok let me get to the point, on my very first visit about an year ago i have consulted Somanath sir for acute food poisoning. This food sickness bothered me alot for almost a week,i could not have food at all during the days then i have visited the doc i was just surprised to know i completely got cured in just a day as mentioned by sir, he eased my anxious gracefully nd explained possible causes of sickness, prior to this doc i have consulted another doc but no use. on second visit almost after an year, i was admitted in hospital for dengue fever as per somnath sir suggestion after explaining my symptoms and situation on hospital telephone as it was off duty time for him. he used to remind every single to have more fluilds n liquids on every day of his visit to patients, here no surprise again, cured and discharged in 5 to 6 days. My relative also got cured from dengue by him. He totally understands your pain, ***** * *** **** *********
