Dear Patients and their relatives, it took sometime for me to know that such a feedback existed on my profile and i felt i have to respond to give my side of the story otherwise it is not fair to judge a doctor by just reading a feedback from one side only. This patient(actually Mr. gupta brought this patient) came to my clinic with history of cough and demanded i do a blood test for TB. He has obviously read about it online and felt that he knows everything about TB. I took history and examined patient suggested that cough could be due to respiratory infection and may not be Tb but i asked for some tests to rule out TB. Now this patient did not take treatment as adviced and obviously did not get better. He further demanded the test for TB which in Indians can be normal even though they may not have the disease. Anyway, 10 mins of internet knowledge is now pitched up against > 10 years of clinical knowledge here. Finally, his ego was hurt and felt like he was taken for a ride, decided to give a harsh feedback about me. I have to admit that people should refrain from judging a doctor after just few minutes of interactions(and by paying just 250 rupees), it takes years for a doctor to become a specialist, i request you to not damage their ability just because your ego is hurt. Hope you will understand a doctors anguish. If there is an issue talk to the doctor again i am sure the air will be more clean with time. Thank you
