It gives me immense satisfaction to write about Dr. Raja Shekhar Reddy.
We have visited Dr. Reddy for my father's Surgery.
My father is a complicated patient with Hypertension and diabetes. At the age of 50, he started limping left leg. Even after consultation from doctors in every multi specialty hospitals in HYDERABAD, the problem was not diagnosed properly and result was addition of the walking stick.
At 58, my father underwent surgery in Sunshine hospital for L-4, L-5 Spinal cord discs, and I would call this as failure as he was unable to walk from that day. Within 2 months, dad's speech started to slur and we rushed him to nearby hospital, but they were unable to help. We then had to rush him to continental hospital, where team in emergency department was thinking about the problems that might have resulted from the spinal cord surgery. Doctor Reddy without hesitation has ordered for a CT-SCAN (even though he received some negativity from team) and diagnosed that dad has internal bleed in the brain. Docter reddy explained the situation, which is very serious to all our family members and we were convinced that dad has to be operated for the brain surgery. We had left all upon Dr. Reddy to save dad, Dr reddy has saved my dad's life then and we were happy for 2 years of time. THANKS TO DR. RAJASHEKAR REDDY.
Here comes the STROKE again after 2 years in July 2017, this was a major one and in the occipital region. Personally, I thought chances were bleak and left all upon Dr. Reddy trusting our previous experience. Dr.Reddy again explained the severity of the situation patiently and asked us to wait until the bleed gets dissolved on its own keeping dad under his critical care. It was a critical case as doctors have to continuously monitor patient with intense care. 7 Days passed and doctor successfully dissolved the clot and gave dad back to us with an assurance. This was a crucial period for all of us, but I really admire Dr. Reddy's way in calming us with his soothing words and friendly attitude. Each and every family member has huge respect on him because he patiently answers all of your questions.
We went again after the discharge to hospital for the regular check-up, unlike other doctors he patiently explained the care that we had to take and gave lot of confidence to dad saying the he would soon be hale and healthy. A very rare quality that I find in Dr. Reddy is his honesty to his profession. He loves it all the way.

I am Anusha, 31 years old female and a mother of 10 months old as of today writing this review to express my gratitude and contentment towards Dr Rajasekar Reddy, Sr. Consultant Neuro & Spine Surgeon at Yashoda Hospitals.
The treatment and care I received from Dr Rajasekar Reddy K and his team of doctors, Dr G V Subbaiah Chowdhary and Dr Raja Challapalli for brain clot associated with RIND (reversible ischemic neuro deficiency, mini stroke) is excellent and timely which saved me from the risk of paralysis.
A month back I was having sudden loss of strength (stroke) multiple times on right side of my body which lasted for 20 seconds to few minutes, as suggested by the doctor I have got an MRI done which showed no signs of abnormality and the report was absolutely normal. Next day I was waiting in Yashoda OPD and that’s when I have got another stroke which was stronger than before, quickly Yashoda team has shifted me to ER and then it was Dr Rajasekar’s timely decision to get a second MRI which showed an acute clot in the brain and hemolysis was done quickly and carefully monitored throughout the time for the adverse effects. If not for the second MRI my situation would have had a toll. I say, it is very important to let the doctors decide for your wellbeing and trust them with your life.
Quickly after discharge I was able to get back to normal and do my works with ease and all the risks and healthcare were explained in detail.

We came to Dr. Rajasekhar Reddy for the treatment of my mother. We are very blessed to have met him. My mother is 80 years old and a diabetic. She was suffering from severe strobing leg pain and numbness for the past 10 years. The pain was so severe that she could barely walk, let alone do any of the daily activities at home. We had consulted many doctors who had diagnosed the condition as peripheral neuropathy. As years went by her symptoms became more severe. So, we finally thought of consulting a neurosurgeon and searched on Practo to find *** **** neurosurgeon in Hyderabad. Out of 50 odd doctors, we were very impressed by Dr. Rajasekhar Reddy’s profile. We booked an appointment in Continental Hospitals, Nanakramguda and took my mother for consultation. His demeanour was very pleasant and he was very cordial towards us. We explained in detail about my mother’s medical history. He listened carefully and patiently. Then he looked into the MRI and examined my mother. Following which he explained to us that she was suffering from spinal stenosis, which has been causing the problem all these years. He explained that surgery (Lumbar Laminectomy) is the best viable option. Although he pointed out that surgery could only eliminate 50-60% of the symptoms and told us not to expect of 100%. We applaud him for his honesty.
Then he gave us a thorough explanation about surgery and mentioned that although there could be complications with this type of surgery they are very rare. After which he answered all our queries and cleared all our doubts. Sure enough when we left his room our confidence in him increased immensely and we knew at that instant that we made the right choice. Finally, we went on with the surgery. On surgery day he made sure my mother was in the right place mentally. He boosted her morale and assured her that there is nothing to worry about. The surgery was a success. Sure enough, there have been no complications. It has been a week and I am delighted to say that my mother’s symptoms have decreased by more than 70%. We are very grateful to Dr. Rajasekhar Reddy.

I had right side ribs (front) pain for 10 months. There were back ache's intermittently. I underwent several diagnostic scans, visited different doctors. All the doctors concluded on vitamin deficiency and muscle spasm. At the end of 10th month, while I was lifting a weight, I had sever back ache. After that I was feeling weak to get up from chair. The next day I visited Sunshine sec-bad, had MRI and discovered spine TB. I was advised immediate surgery or 2 mnths complete bed rest with medication. I opted for later. My parents visited several doctors, and we came across Dr Rajasekhar. He gave us the confidence that medication and bed rest will cure my illness. 2 months bed rest was extended to 4 months. I trusted the doc, as his treatment was based on logic. His profile includes several successful surgeries, yet he treats his patients uniquely. I'm thankful that he supervised my treatment. After 4 months, **** ** disease is cured. I trained my self to stand, walk, and stayed at home for 1 more month on doctors advice. I've to continue the medication for 1 year at least. Now I'm back to my work place.
I'm very thankful to Dr.Rajasekhar, for even though this form of disease is common across the nation, even though the treatment could be same for most of the patients, doctor took decision based on the patient's condition and diagnostics reports, (and of course based on his experience and intellect) which I feel is not a common trait in this corporate world.
I'm 35 year of age, have two kids, a wife, a house on mortgage, took 5 months of LOA (with no salary), complete bed rest. I could stay confident only because of my parents, by brother and my wife who took care of me, and because of the doctor who's treatment was to the point.
This is not the end of the story. I've to be careful, continue with medication. My suggestion to others is, do not read a lot regarding the disease on web, it only leads to depression. Instead follow doctors instruction. My doctor advised me to read books, watch movies, enjoy the holidays (until it lasts :-) ). I'll be visiting him on regular basis.

I have disc dislocation & spine related problem. Explained my past related pain issues too. My question to doctor was what could be the reason of my pains. Doctor was very impatient & not giving time. He keeps telling is there still more to listen. He wanted to wrap up the meeting within 2 minutes. I am happy to write a review of my spine surgery. My review and my experience will help to the people who are suffering the same. I had back pain since four years.Few weeks back I had pain in my right leg calf muscle and severe crample at nights. After long time after lock down I went to office one of my colleague told me my walking style seems to be am having problem in my legs. So iam also absorbing the same my walking moment also changed to eneven
Now I decided to meet the doctor I had a doubt that, for leg pain, orthopaedic or neurologist so first I went to physiotherapy for three days but no relief then I contacted to my friend sister she is (general medicine) she suggested to meet a neurologist then I consulted a Dr. Kailash mirche (Neurologist) he clearly understand my problem and he ask me to walk on my toes I tried but iam unable to walk my right leg toes are lossen the strength. He suggested me to take a MRI SCAN for LUMBAR SPINE.
My MRI SCAN report clearly identified a problem that am having Tumer (D12-L1 level extradural intrameddulary lesion)
My MRI report shows:::
* Well defined lobulated enhancing altered signal intensity extradural intrameddulary lesion in the left side of spinal canal at D12-L1 level and it is effacing the subarachnoid CSF space, compressing and displacing the spinal cord and conus medullaris to right side-likely Neurogenic origin. Possibility differentials:1. Schwannoma. 2. Neurofibroma. *
* L2-L3, L3-L4 & L4-L5 posterior annular bulges causing thecal sac indentation.
*
Then Doctor suggested to meet Neurosurgeon then I consulted Dr Rajasekhar Reddy k(Nuro surgeon). After checking my MRI report s he clearly explained my problem and strictly suggested to go for surgery as early as possible. I am having a many doubts about surgery and after surgery.
I asked , he clearly explained that extradural intrameddulary Tumer is not that complicate 99% of cases success is there and he is also shown a video content of surgery and clearly explained about that. He is specialist for spinal surgery. Then I dicided to go for surgery after a few doctors second opinion.
Now successfully my Tumer is removed and biopsy report also normal (benign).
Thanks to Dr Rajashekar Reddy for humble treatment and concern about my anxiety and doubts.

I am writing this review to help others experiencing similar issues and convey gratitude to the Doctor and his team for saving lives. My wife aged 36 yrs experienced frequent headaches recently and
sometimes she was becoming blank minded for a moment and don't know what's happening inside her body for a minute. She gets sweat all
over the body for a moment and she was fine after that. This happens twice or thrice a day for some days and no symptoms at all for some days. We came to know very lately that these are seizures in Brain. We consulted the Doctor in USA and explained the symptoms. After listening to the symptoms US Doctor
said it was a panic attack due to the COVID situation as we are hearing lot of news about COVID in news as well as in social media.US Doctor
prescribed her anxiety disorder medicine for a month. Even after using that medicine we don't see a change in her health condition.
We moved back to India and took the right decision to consult Dr.Rajashekar Reddy garu *** ** *** **** ***** ******** ** ********* ******* ** *********** **********
Once after undergoing MRI tests we came to know that my wife had a Ependymoma tumor in the right temporal lobe of the brain. We all were shocked to hear the news but we have to accept the truth. We acted fast and decided to go for the surgery immediately. Doctor Rajashekar Reddy garu explained very clearly on the surgery procedure and kind of equipment they use for the surgery and complications. He completed half of his treatment by bringing postiveness towards seeing the problem giving lot of boost to the patient. We were very confident after this visit. He has the best team for the surgery. His Personal Secretary Ravi took care of all insurance and admin related activities which I need not to worry about and thanks is not enough for his support. Mr. Basil and Dr.Ahmed took care of surgery related activities with a smile on their face all the time. She undergone surgery and it was so successful that my wife able to talk immediately after such a major surgery.
I strongly recommend Dr Rajashekar Reddy garu for your consultation for any Brain or spine related issues and Continental Hospitals having world class medical equipment.

My husband aged 40 was suffering from very severe back pain for almost 1 week. We were not interested to go to hospital as the hospitals are full of covid patients. When the pain was unbearable and he couldn't even stand or sit or lay down, we admitted him to continental hospital. We were not aware of anything about his condition. He was referred to Dr. Rajashekar Reddy garu. By that time it's already 3 days that we were in hospital and nothing could be diagnosed and we were indeed under utter stress as his condition was deteriorating.
Sir, heard all our problems point to point very patiently and asked us for 48 hrs to diagnose the problem and to start medication. We were so restless. All the tests were done and in around 36 hrs the disease was diagnosed as stephailococci aersus bacterial infection which is commonly found in elderly people and diabetic or heart patients. He doesn't fall under any of these categories bit still he infected with that. After starting the medication he started to develop allergy and we were so worried as they it was very good medicine. Then sir pacified us and took risk to continue the same medication with an advise from general physician Ramana rao sir.
It has been 4 weeks now he is taking same medication and he is recovering very fast. We are so thankful to you sir for all your support both emotionally and clinically. He is really a gem in Neuroscience and if we would have joined in any other hospital probably we would have to undergo spine surgery. But sir gave medication through IV and my husband has recovered dramatically. Though we were restless some time due to the pain Sir was very patient and empathetic to all our doubts. Nurses Beula and nagamani were very caring. Sirs assistants Ravi and Ahmed sir also very supportive. All our queries post discharge were also patiently attended by Ravi sir. Kudos to continental and Dr. Rajashekar Reddy sir and his team.
