I visited Dr Raghavendra Sir recently, as my mother was suffering from severe back pain from past 2months later she was diagnosed with a Tumor at L1 L2 level (Schwannoma).When we visited Raghavendra Sir clinic we were very tensed, because other neurosurgeons said us that this operation is very critical & risky, but Raghavendra sir gave us strength & said don't worry this problem is not much big as you people are thinking and told us " I love this kind of surgeries " , he also assured my mother that you will come with a Tumor i will remove it & send u back home. After listening to Sir we were very confident & admitted my mother. He treated my dad (80 years old with past history of cardiological related ailments/hypertension etc)with utmost care and attention and we as a family are grateful and indebted for his time and consultation towards my dad's brain stroke treatment.

He spent more time that anyone else could in terms of explaining the medical problem to the entire family with utmost patience and also walked us thru the treatment plan . On july 2 my father underwent a brain surgery by Raghavendra sir and it will not be fair if I don't share my experience here. My father has complained about constant headache and we had consulted Dr.Abhinay and after checking the MRA and CT Angio brain scans , a aneurysm has been detected incidentally and later on we were referred to Dr.Raghavendra sir for the surgeon opinion. Raghavendra sir is so friendly and he did all the homework related to my dad scans even before we consulted him . He personally sat with the radiologist to have a clear picture on the aneurysm position etc . He explained us clearly on what does an aneurysm mean and what might be the reasons to get that and how can we get rid of the problem . In order to have a complete diagnosis picture he suggested us to go for CT 4 vessel Angio and he took care of us completely right from the day we consulted him . Once the diagnosis is complete , he clearly explained us the need to go for a surgery and he explained all the treatment types available to us very clearly. After the discussion we had a complete idea on what we are dealing with and he clearly explained us how the surgery will happen and what might be the complications very clearly during or after the surgery. After a week we decided to go for the surgery . we had admitted our dad on july 1 and from that day onwards Raghavendra sir is monitoring my dad continuously and took care of him as his family member. On july 2 we went for the surgery .Raghavendra sir's expertise and by god's grace everything smoothly without a single complication and my dad is doing absolutely fine now . I have to mention this,In last 2 years our family had underwent three surgeries including this one , no doctor has ever followed upon patients well being after the surgery but raghavendra sir is miles apart from the rest. After discovering that my father-in-law was diagnosed with acoustic schwannoma, we got introduced to Dr. Raghavendra through a doctor friend Reena. The first thing that struck us meeting him was his genial nature and his explanation of the issue clearly. In fact, he explained about the issue more than twice leading up to the surgical procedure. While he prepared us for some of the side effects from the operation, he also listed out how they can be conquered post the surgery. With due respect to other doctors, he is a cut above them in that he treats his patient as someone who he knows personally, infuses the right kind of attitude in the patient before and post the surgery, gives them adequate time during consultation, is approachable on phone (before and post surgery) and gives you a feeling of ‘everything will be alright’ just by seeing him. He has positivity written all over his face. Simply put he is a doctor with qualities that you dream of when you visit one over an issue. May he light up many more lives with his skills and may his tribe increase!

First I want to thank Dr. H. Raghavendra. I contacted him in the month of Jan for my lower Backpain. He listen all my pain points carefully and suggested for the medication. With in 5 days I relieved from the pain due to the work form home.

After a month I got severe pain in the left arm starting from middle part of the Shoulder. Immediately I contacted Dr. Raghavendra. He asked me to get the MRI done.

Frankly saying, I afraid on MRI device, and unble to do it for several attempts. Then Raghavendra sir comes to the MRI scan room and gave me moral support and he only done the MRI for me. I really thankful to you sir.

Finally he diagnosised and explained that there is a severe bulge happened in between C6 and C7 spine disks, because of this reason I'm getting severe pain in my left ARM. Then only he recommeneded for the surgery.

After joining in the hospital, Sir given me moral support because, I am really afraid of the surgery. After the surgery, surpresingly all the pain gone with the left ARM.

The main thing, what I liked with the doctor is, He is listen carefully about the issues reported by the patient. He always give the feel of the well wisher or as a family member so patient can freely talk to him with out any hurries

After fifteen days later on right side also hemorrhage and subdural hematoma was formed again. I met neurologist, Dr. Abhinay, in SLG hospitals he explained the problem and guide me to consult neurosurgeon Dr. Raghavendra.

Dr. Raghavendra explained the problem in lucid language and advised us to wait for a week hoping for decrease in the size of blood clot. After those two days, I experienced loss of coordination, tingling, numbness and loss of grip in my left upper limb. When we informed the problem on phone at 9 pm, he attended the call and prescribed immediate medication to get relief.

The next day also I faced the same problem around 12 noon. Immediately he advised to rush to the hospital. He explained the problems going to be faced if the clot is not removed. We are very much impressed for his confidence and style of counseling the patient and immediately joined for surgery. While before going to the operation he said that he will take care of me like a baby. What he promised the same thing he practically showed.

She is now back at home and filled with confidence.

Here is my experience, I had visited many other doctors but no one figured out that there was an infection in my spine L5-S1. Dr Raghavendra sir diagnosed and caught the actual cause. He was so down to earth and such a wonderful neuro surgeon. He explained and educated me about the issue. I was on severe pain. I could say doctor deals his patients with lot of patience. Anytime i call him or message, he will responds so quickly and his words gives me strength. It's been almost 15 days that i gone through my L5-S1 disc spine surgery and my pain got reduced and am recovering so quickly.
