Dr. Prasad Chitra completed his basic dental training at the SDM Colle…read morege of Dental Sciences at Dharwad, one of India's top ranked dental training institutes in 1994. He completed his Masters training in Orthodontics, also from the same institute, and went on to complete two Memberships in Orthodontics from the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in the year 2000. He is one of the few Orthodontists in the State of Telangana with these specialist qualifications. Dr. Prasad Chitra is also pursuing his Doctorate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics( PhD) presently.
Additionally, Dr. Prasad Chitra also heads the Orthodontic chair at the Army College of Dental Sciences at Secunderabad, a Post Graduate training institute, since 2001. He is an invited speaker on Dental Photography, use of Articulators and facebows in Orthodontics and on management of Temporomandibular disorders. He has lectured extensively at State and National meets and conferences and also Internationally.read less
