Dr. Niveditha Sai Chandra

Dr. Niveditha pursued her MBBS (2005-2011) from Dr. Pinnnamaneni Siddhartha Medical College, Andhra Pradesh and completed her MD in General Medicine (2012-2015) at ASRAM College, Andhra Pradesh. She then worked as Asst. Professor in Dept. of General Medicine, Kannur Medical College, Kerala from 2015 to 2017. She has done Neurology training from KMC Mangalore, Manipal Academy from 2017 to 2020. Dr. Niveditha is experienced in treating a variety of Neurological emergencies like Status Epilepticus, AIDP, and Stroke where IV Thrombolysis and Mechanical Thrombectomy were performed in a huge number of patients. She also performed more than 100 ENMGs in neuromuscular and trauma cases.Dr. Niveditha has several paper publications in peer-reviewed medical journals to her name and cleared the NESSAN EEG certificate course conducted in November 2020. She has a special interest in Epilepsy, auto-immune, sleep, and other related diseases. Further, she had presented and discussed approaches to difficult MS cases with Dr.Yurg Kesselring, a pioneer in multiple sclerosis, Switzerland during his visit to KMC, Mangalore. She also organized and participated in free medical camps & public health awareness programs following her dedication to serving society. She is a Life Member and Consultant for CHD – Centre for Health and Development, a global volunteer organization striving for the betterment of rural health in India.
