Worst experience with appointments so far from past 5 months. Have gone to multiple hospitals so far in bangalore and hyderabad, never seen such a poor time management.
Always the wait times were about max 45mins - 1.30 hr longer than the appointment time in those places.
The online appointment using Practo was suggested by one of the customer representatives when I was trying to book an appointment for Dr.Neelima Reddy for my mother (senior citizen) for the first time.
In online you have to book an appointment atleast 10 days minimum in advance. That's understandable because the doctor is very good (I shall discuss about her in the last)
However, the real problem is you will be shown multiple slots 3.10 PM 3.30 PM 3.50 PM 4.10 PM etc. I have tried booking at different slot times. These timing slots are really joke and does not matter at all.
I have always reported in time (atleast 15 mins before the appointment slot) on 6 occcasions and always could meet the doctor only after 6.30 PM in some cases about 7 PM in the evening.
I can understand more number of patients so u might need to wait ( 1hr may be ok but 3 hrs), but what is the point of advance online time slot booking then. I do understand she spends more time
with patient compared to other doctors but does not justify the wait time .Can be carefully planned well in allocating online slots considering min 30-40 mins time for each patient.
What pissed me off really is: When I had the appointment for 7th time, I was getting late because was not finding taxis and the drivers were cancelling. I had called the customer representative and told that my appointment is 3.10 pm
however I am unable to make it on time this time i am getting late, the customer representative tells me dont come as your appointment is 3.10 pm. I told I have come several times but always had waited for 3 hrs of the appointment but cant you be ok if I come today.
Then the respresentative tells me he will call me and tell me when I should start if today possible, if not he will tell me when the next appointment. I dont expect it also that he will call.
The representatives have really dont care attitude towards their patients and probably think people will go through all this broken process without complaining because the doctor is good and
also probably they have lots of patients now. So who cares attitude, if not you we have so many patients now!
Though its tough decision for me to again start looking for a new doctor as I cant take enough of this non-sense eventhough the doctor is really too good.
Forgot to mention last visit the representative was asking me to write a google review on the spot and asking to give a 5 rating. Was lucky that my internet did not work on phone so I could write a proper detailed review now.
Feedback: A better time management & customer centric representatives could improve the experiences since the doctor is very good. So that you dont lose more patients in future.
However the Dr. Neelima Reddy is very good, very professional, very calm and identifies and understand the problems thoroughly. She follows-up with the patients on regularly regarding the progress of the treatment.
Also recommends good lifestyle and diet plan for patients so that they can improve on their health .
Never seen doctor who spends so much quality time with patients (minimum 30-40 mins ) in understanding the problems correctly. As far as the doctor is concerned I will give 5/5 for her. But experience with appointments & customer representatives
was too low. So that extra one point boost (2/5) was because of the doctor.
