I took my wife for treatment of brain metastases to Dr, Gangadhar. He is extremely friendly which is a very important quality that a Doctor must have, which makes the patient comfortable, gain confidence and gives a psychological boost. He has advised and given the radiation therapy called "IGRT" (Image guided radiation therapy" with rapid arc technique. My own research showed that this is the state of the art treatment for Brain metastases and given in the best hospitals world over. He also has done the memory sparing of the brain, which means that the patient memory is not affected due to radiation to the brain. And indeed, after the treatment her memory is absolutely intact. She had intolerable pain on her back due to the lung tumor and was on highest pain killer before therapy. After 16 sessions of RT, her pain is almost gone. Dr. Gangadhar is very compassionate and frequently calls up to enquire about the patients health condition. He saves all patients phone numbers and immediately responds when called. He is easily available on phone and says that "you can call me anytime for anything" I find it a very rare quality. During initial and intermittent consultations, doctor examines and asks the relevant questions in detail and spends a good time and gives appropriate medication based on the symptoms. Overall we had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Gangadhar.

He was in frequent conversations (always available over phone when in need) to know how the treatment is making improvements/progress, it is good to have such care taking doctors around us. He is very friendly and all the precautions were taken well care and guided us by clearing all the questions/confusions. Advised for postoperative radiation treatment (SRT) by neurosurgeon and was referred to Dr.Gangadhar vajrala. The radiation treatment i.e Intensity Modulated Fractionated Stereotactic Radiotherapy (IMSRT) was done on Novalis Tx linear accelerator.
