Dr. M. V. Chalapathi Rao was one of the first Interventional Radiologist in the twin states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to start Endovenous Laser treatment for varicose veins.He is a Senior Interventional Radiologist at Dr. Chalapathi Rao’s IR Centre, Hyderabad and a visiting consultant to some of the major Corporate Hospitals in Hyderabad. Till recently he was Head of the Department of Radiology and Interventional Radiologist at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences(KIMS), Hyderabad. He did MBBS from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada and did M.D.(Radiology) from Guntur Medical College, Guntur. He had worked as a Senior Registrar at Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences(NIMS), Hyderabad. He got trained in vascular and neuro interventions at KEM Hospital, Mumbai.He was a recipient of “Young Radiologist of the year” award in 1999 and “Vaidya Sree” award in 2012.

By god's grace we met Dr.Chalapathi Rao sir .We consider being fortunate for having met the doctor during severity of my father's varicose veins problem. He did laser treatment and completely abolished the veins.Doctor is highly professional and does the treatment procedure with ease and at the patient's convenience and comfort.Apart from this, Sir being non-commercial treats his patients with care and give them the best results.In my view , Dr.Chalapathi Rao garu is one of the few who strives to keep the profession noble as how it should be.I would call him as a Doctor with patience.I would definitely recommend people with varicose problems to him. I have lost all the Hope ...When my ulcers in left leg were growing up ...I thought I have face those ulcers life long ..***** ******* *** *** **** ******* ** **** ********* ..Nobody gave the Appropriate treatment for my ulcers ..By God's grace I came to know About Dr.Chalapathi rao sir and got the Best treatment tp cure my ulcers by Radiology ...Thanks a lot Sir
