I was here to confirm pregnancy and the doctor was good. As its my first pregnancy, i had a lot of questions esp on food related restrictions or exercise. Its important to have a doctor who listens and understands the patient to build the trust if we were to continue consultation for next 9 months. that's where my problem was. she did not spend time to listen and kept writing her prescription while we were waiting to hear her diagnosis/recommendations.When asked about diet, she asked me to refer to a diet chart which was pretty generic. She prescribed lot of supplements and a weekly injection while she confirmed that i did not have any issue and that my reports looked alright. when i asked about the injection she told its just for support. She recommended another protein powder saying it was again for support. I was confused because on one side i was told everything looked okay and on other hand just too many things being recommended in the name of support. So i went to another senior doctor in a different hospital *** *** ****** ** ** ******* *** ********* **** ***** *** ** **** *** *** ****** ********** ** *** **** ******************* ****** *** *** **** ********* ******** *** ** ********** i respect the doctor archana and her experience but i couldn't build the trust ** * **** * *** ***** *********** *** **** ** *********** ***** ** *** **** ** ******* *** also she didnt appear as someone who listens and understands her patients

After the explanation of my health issue weight gain and breast pain due to PCOD, she asked me to get some scans, blood tests etc. The first day, she told it could be mostly due to hormonal imbalance. She just changed her words after the test results. She blamed it on diet and sedentary life. She compared the situation with a beggar, "as he is not getting the food he is lean, you are overeating so you gained weight". Not much help regarding the PCOD treatment as well. she asked me to get another test done after multiple scans.

And for breast pain, she told it will be there in some women. No explanation was given, asked me to get surgery if it's too bothering!
