Dantam - The Dental Lounge

I am writing this review after 3 months of my root canal treatment. I had a small cavity in one of my premolars which I wanted to get fixed. Doctor suggested me for a root canal and post that capping over it.

It took 3 sessions for my root canal and one session for capping. My root canal sessions were all painful even after anesthesia. This was almost 3 weeks of work. Even after capping I was in pain for 10 days. Doctor told me its healing pain.

3 months after I still have consistent mild pain while chewing food. May be its still healing.

I could have gone back to doctor for this but there are a few reasons listed below which stopped me. * ***** ***** **** *********** ******* *** *** *********** *** **** ***** ** ****** ******* While placing the capping tooth doctor asked me to match the tooth color and size by showing it to me on a little mirror. It was not properly visible on it so I requested her to confirm herself if it goes well. I trusted her. And she said its all good.

Reality is not just the color, but the size of the tooth also does not match.

Charges for root canal: Rs. 4500

Chares for capping: Rs. 12000

I visited clinic for re root canal treatment as I was under immense regular pain in one of my previous treated root canal molar tooth . Dr Sneha explained very clearly on the pathways and advised re root canal as an attempt to save the tooth , however she was clear on the risk and advised accordingly. I went into 5 session , first one carried out by Dr Sneha , 2nd /3rd by Dr Malathi , 4 th by Dr Sneha ,5th by Dr Surabhi

Each were designated as per my problem and was addressed appropriately

I was advised on the next course of plan

Professional, good equipment, proper hygiene ( given Covid 19 )

Would definitely recommend and am looking forward to bridge treatment as suggested

I came across Dantam after a lot of research on the internet. I had severe tooth pain and I wanted to ensure that I go to a good dentist during covid times. I was so happy with all the services provided here. especially the safety precautions taken for covid. I got 2 teeth extracted and I was very scared but both the times the doctors were extremely patient and very gentle with the entire process. I also underwent RCT for a few teeth and everything was done very smoothly and professionally. The entire staff is extremely polite, friendly and efficient. I was 29 weeks pregnant and had badly decayed and broken tooth. The nerve was exposed which resulted in pain in my entire rigjt face from head to jaw. Any tooth extraction or normal RCT would require having abtiboitics which was not good for baby. So doctor found a work around . she did highly localised RCT and removed decayed part. And did not apply cap for now. So I did not have to eat antiboitics. Which was great. She took specaial care and attention considering I was pregnant, while other dentists scared me a lot. This was great experience. i would highly recommend her

I had implants done almost 10 years ago due to a road accident and I have recently started facing some issues due to gum recession. I found Dr Sneha very cooperative, she understands her patient's issues very calmly and explains in detail with clarity. I had pain in one of my upper teeth and doctor suggested extraction and then bridge. ** ****** ** *** ****** ******** *** ***** ***** * *** * **** ***** * I am having discomfort. I went to clinic so many times after that but everytime they say there's no issue when I can really feel food particles between bridge and the gums.
