Migraine headache is a result of specific neuro chemical changes within the brain. It causes severe head pain that is often accompanied by sensitivity to light, sound, or smells.

Common symptoms of migraine are:

  • Eye pain
  • Sensitivity to light or sound, and
  • Nausea.

There are certain causes which act as the triggers that initiates the pain. Initially this trigger factors need to be identified and treated as it varies from person to person. Usually they are associated with either the digestive system or any hormonal imbalance (in ladies) or any defect/ trauma/severe muscular spasm in the upper part of cervical spine.

Secondly the abnormality in the brain cells 'the neurons' in neurochemical transmission needs to be treated and rectified. Though it is difficult to change the disturbed pattern in cell function,  observing a healthy lifestyle and food habits and supplementing with nutritive foods rich in vitamins, milk proteins and minerals and few selective ayurvedic methods and medication will show remarkable improvement and a definite cure in migraine.
