Life is lived through a series of formulae. Everything has a formula; it's just a matter of finding it. And that’s where most of us get lost! A whole slew of motivational books and articles out there provide us with these solutions to a great life. The highest selling of these have to be those books which tell us how to lose all that fat and become slim and trim. So jumping on the band wagon; here is one more!

The books and articles make it seem easy to achieve that dream (model -like) figure. But let me tell you at the beginning- nothing comes about without putting in an effort! YOU will have to work to become fit and slim. I have the easy job of telling you what to do and how to do it. 

 So here goes -The formula for a great body, the formula to lose all that unwanted fat – The Medasutra (meda= fat (tissue) in Sanskrit, sutra= formula) :-

 II EAT WISELY,  EAT MODERATELY II 

i.e : -   CONTROL  your eating habits!

AND

 II EXERCISE ADEQUATELY, EXERCISE REGULARLY II

So going in for some word gymnastics we get a mantra out ofthese two basic principles;        ..........................................   !!EXERCISE,CONTROL!!    .......................................................

Sounds easy, doesn’t it! But believe me, it is the hardest thing to do, especiallywhen you are hungry and you see all those mouth-watering fried food and desserts in front of you. But remember L: Temptation is one of the original sins.  

So to fight this temptation; what you have to become is – a Yogi. As Indians we all know the power of chanting. So just remember to make ‘II EXERCISE CONTROL II’  your mantra and chant it every time you are filling up your plate, or better still chant this mantra as soon as you wake up and right through the day whenever you can, right up to the you get ready for bed.
