Often my clients ask me, what can I do if I take faulty diet plans on the same day or a day before. Or what can be done to maintain weight body fat percentage if we eat wrong combinations? Does having wrong combinations make our body toxic?

My answer to all these questions is one and only one. We must do one or two days cleanse in order to make liver as active as before and to make the digestion process fast. Now, what can be done to make body toxins free?

Detoxification can be done in various ways:

  1. Drink maximum salty lemon water throughout the day, by skipping two major meals in a day.
  2. Drink infused water throughout the day (Infused water can be made by chopping two to three different fruits and vegetables, mostly salad ones, then adding all of them in water overnight or for 8 hours).
  3. Have only salads and raw vegetables with a moderate amount of tea and black coffee.
  4. Have one meal proper in a day and rest of the day you can have any detox drink.

Advantages:

  1. Detoxification boosts our metabolism 
  2. It helps in weight loss, especially water loss from the body.
  3. It relieves the symptoms of chronic conditions like Arthritis, Fibromyalgia etc.

Disadvantages:

  1. It lacks macronutrients like protein complex carbs and fats
  2. It can loose or lean muscle mass if followed for more than 3-4 days
  3. On the prolonged use of these diets, acid-base dis-balance may occur; acidosis. Hence, a person may feel indigestion, Flatulence, discomfort.
